  Nigerian rapper and songwriter Jesse Garba Abaga 'Jesse Jagz', has tied the knot with his girlfriend, Tolu, in a private wedding ceremony in Plateau state. The ceremony was attended by his family members and a few friends.   

  Students of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, (ATBU) Bauchi are mourning the death of two final year students and a recent graduate. Aminu Ahmed, a 500 level Electrical/Electronic Engineering and Abubakar, also 500 level, died in ghastly motor accidents on Wednesday September 2, and Thursday September 3. According to reports, one Dahiru Musa Hardo, a recent graduate of the institution, who was preparing for the mandatory one year national youth service also died in an accident on his way to his hometown, Toro, two weeks ago.    See more photos and posts mourning the dead students below.  

  Super Falcons star, Onome Ebi is grateful to God for making her dreams come true after purchasing a house in Lagos.  The 37-year-old defender who currently plays for Henan Huishang in the Chinese Women’s Super League, took to Instagram to share a photo of her new house and wrote: "I just want to say thank you Lord God for all. Dreams do come TRUE if you keep believing in yourself and never give up"    

  A 25-year-old man identified as Hamisu Tukur has been arrested by police officers in the Bwari Police Division in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) command for allegedly stealing a vehicle that belongs to the Federal Road Safety Corps(FRSC) Headquarters at Wuse Zone 5, Abuja.   A statement released by the FCT Police Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Anjuguri Manzah, says the suspect was arrested during a stop and search operation following a distress call by the FRSC. “In a prompt response to a distress call received by the FCT Police Command’s control room, the Command on 5th September 2020 arrested one Hamisu Tukur ‘m’ 25years at the outskirt of Bwari, for stealing a vehicle belonging to the Federal Road Safety Corps(FRSC) Headquarters stationed at SkyMemorial, Wuse Zone 5. “The fleeing suspect was arrested by the eagle-eyed Police Operatives from Bwari Division during a stop and search operation, following call received from the FRSC Headqu...

  The Delta State Police Command has arrested a 22-year-old woman identified as Hope David for allegedly stabbing her lover, Justice Esiri, 24, to death. It was gathered that the incident occurred at about 1 pm on Thursday, September 3, in Abraka, Ethiope East council area of the state. According to reports, the lovers had a misunderstanding, which later led to a fight during which Hope stabbed Justice with a kitchen knife. The victim was reportedly rushed to the General Hospital, Abraka, but was confirmed dead by a doctor.   Spokesperson for the command, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, who confirmed the incident to The Nation, on Saturday, September 5, said the suspect is in police custody. The corpse has since been deposited at a mortuary.  

  Former Abia state governor and current Senate chief whip, Orji Uzor Kalu, says he will build a 20th-century economy in Nigeria if Nigerians make him president come 2023. Kalu said this on a programme at a radio station in Umuahia, Abia state capital while speaking on his presidential ambition in 2023.   Girls Trip star, Tiffany Haddish revealed that she tested positive for Coronavirus in a  video posted on her YouTube page this week.  Sharing her experience with one of the White House’s top experts during the pandemic and director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease Dr Anthony Fauci, the actress and comedian disclosed that she contracted the virus about three months ago after working on a movie where someone else came down with COVID-19.  Haddish said her first test came back negative, but she got tested again when someone else she knew tested positive and she found out she was negative.    She said;    “I was working on a movie and someone in the movie contracted coronavirus.
