  Cardi B and her daughter Kulture dressed to the nines as they stepped out in their pink Hermes purses. Recall that Offset gifted his daughter Kulture a Hermes bag for her 2nd birthday weeks ago. The toddler got a chance to rock the bag while going out with her mother. They also both wore white-framed sunglasses for the outing. Sharing photos and a video, Cardi referred to Kulture as her "best friend". See more photos and video below.  

Monalisa Chinda and her husband, Victor Tonye Coker, are celebrating their wedding anniversary today. The actress shared a photo she took with her husband and captioned it, "It's our anniversary." She added the hashtag, #MayNothingSeparateUsFromTheLoveOFGod.  

  14 suspected internet fraudsters have been arrested by operatives of Enugu State zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Awka, Anambra State. The suspects who are between the ages of 21 – 28 years were nabbed at Okpuno Awka, Agu Awka and Ngozika estate on Monday August 31.  Three Mercedes Benz 4matic, three Mercedes Benz AMG and two Lexus Rx salon cars were recovered from the suspects.    EFCC Head of Media, Dele Oyewale said in a statement;    “Interim analyses of some of the suspects’ phones indicated they were involved in some suspected internet fraud which, include online bitcoin scam, love scam and identity theft”     He added that the suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.  

  Former goalkeeper of Nigeria’s Flying Eagles, John Felagha, is dead. The Nigerian Football Federation, (NFF) announced that the former National U17 and U20 goalkeeper died in Senegal on Sunday, August 30. He was 26-year-old.   Former National U17 and U20 goal keeper John Felagha has died. Felagha died on Sunday in Senegal. He was aged 26. John Felagha was part of the Golden Eaglets squad that won the UAE 2013 FIFA Under 17 World Cup.

  Students of the Lagos State University, LASU, are to resume in batches, starting from September. The Vice Chancellor,  Prof. Olanrewaju Fagbohun, SAN, made this announcement on Monday, August 31, while speaking on a radio interview. He explained that 400, 500 and 600 levels students would resume first after which students in other levels would come onboard. The 400, 500 and 600 levels students would resume for a duration of two months with intensive lectures starting from 9am – 3pm daily for those that live off-campus. After the completion of 400 level,500 level and 600 level resumption; students in 200 level and 300 level are to resume for two months of lectures before the commencement of exams. Resumption for the students in 200 level and 300 level was divided into different days of the week. On Mondays and Wednesdays, 300 level students would be on campus for lectures.   Paul Rusesabagina whose true life story of saving hundreds of Rwandans during the genocide in the country by sheltering them in the hotel he managed inspired the 2004 Hollywood film 'Hotel Rwanda', has been arrested on terrorism charges.  The Hutu native who became well known after Hotel Rwanda, is wanted for a score of serious crimes. He is said to be the founder of the National Liberation Forces (FLN), '' an armed terrorist organisation '' under his Rwandan Movement for Democratic Change (MRCD). The Rwandan government is currently holding and trying dozens of FLN members for war crimes and other violations committed on Rwandan territory including murder. Callixte Nsabimana one of the FLN leaders is also undergoing trial in Rwanda.   According to the country's bureau of Investigation, Rusesabagina was arrested "through international cooperation" after an international warrant was issued.   Manchester United have agreed to sign Dutch midfielder Donny van der Beek from Ajax. The 23-year-old has agreed on personal terms with Manchester United in a deal thought to be in the region of €39m, plus another €5m in add-ons.  Van der Beek will complete his medical in the coming days while with the Netherlands squad for the Nations League games against Poland (September 4) and Italy (September 7) before travelling to the UK. United will offer Van de Beek a five-year contract worth a significant pay rise on his current £30,000-per-week wages. Van de Beek helped Ajax reach the 2018-19 Champions League semi-finals and scored ten goals in 37 appearances for Ajax last term.  The Netherlands midfielder who can operate in a central or attacking role would be Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first signing of the summer transfer window.
