The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has apologized to Nigerians over the sudden resignation of erstwhile Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh on last Thursday night and the attendant accusations and counter-accusations that have trailed the event. Barely 24 hours after the release of another list of 100 Boko Haram terror suspects, four men suspected to be members of the sect were arrested yesterday morning by youths of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) at the Maiduguri motor park. The suspects, according to Modu Bukar, a member of CJTF, were attempting to flee Maiduguri by bus before they were apprehended by the vigilant youths at about 7.35am. “These men who claimed to be travelling to the south are Boko Haram suspects, because their identities matched those on the list released by the military on Saturday, including the sect’s tattoo on their arms and backs,” Bukar said yesterday.
