The Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, on Thursday urged the Federal Government to exercise restraint in handling the various groups clamouring for the actualization of Biafra. The President of the Ohanaeze Youth Council, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, in a statement, said dialogue was the only way out of the various agitations. He called on the Federal government to address various cries of marginalization in the South-East zone.

Not less than 35 Senators accompanied Senate president Bukola Saraki to the third hearing of his case of false declaration of assets at the tribunal this morning. The tribunal will in about 25 minutes from now deliver judgement on whether or not to continue with his trial

  Former governor of Sokoto State, Senator Aliyu Wamakko says President Buhari must be allowed to rule beyond 2019 so that he can address the numerous challenges facing Nigeria. According to Daily Trust, Wamakko canvassed for a second term for Buhari while speaking to Law undergraduates from the Usmanu Danfodio University, Sokoto who paid him a visit at the National Assembly.

  Earlier this week rapper Rick Ross broke his engagement with former stripper Lira Galore after less than a month. And he made sure to get his $350k diamond ring back. According to TMZ, when Lira was leaving Rick's house with her stuff, she didn't leave without the ring. Rick has also deleted all of Lira's pictures from his Instagram account. Looks like he's serious!

Pastor Chijioke of Breasts and Honey New International Church, who allegedly heals women by sucking their breasts was caught in the hot seat last week when a female radio DJ called him using a fake name to ask for spiritual guidance. In the phone call, the DJ who works at Hero Radion, Nakuru, Kenya told the Pastor that her problem is that she can’t seem to get married. Every time she has a man, when things get serious between them, the men run away. 

  There was pandemonium yesterday November 4 in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital, when a 1-year-old baby fell into a well and gave up the ghost. The incident, which occurred at the popular Kampala market located at Asero area of Abeokuta around  4:00pm , left the area into mourning.
