  Three sisters have d!ed after a boat they were travelling in capsized at Tiga Dam in Tudun Wada Local Government Area of Kano State.   Unidentified assailants suspected to be cultists have killed a comedian and media personality, Isaac Nwosu, popularly known as ‘Aiza Nwosu’, as well as an unidentified man in Awka, the Anambra State capital.    It was gathered that the two victims were shot dead at separate locations by the same assailants on Sunday, August 30, 2026. While the comedian was killed along S.M.   Milo Yiannopoulos has been deported from the United States and returned to the United Kingdom after being detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), according to federal law enforcement sources cited by TMZ. The British right-wing commentator and former executive associated with Kanye West was taken from a holding facility in Alexandria, Louisiana, and transported under federal authority to an airport in another state, where he boarded a flight to the UK. Sources said ICE received confirmation from UK authorities that Yiannopoulos had arrived after leaving the United States.   Gunmen who abducted members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) have demanded N20m ransom each.   LIB reported that the 15 corps members travelling from Bayelsa State to Abuja after completing their three-week orientation exercise were abducted along the Aloma-Egane Expressway in Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State. A family member of one of the victims told Daily Trust that the abductors had contacted them to make known their ransom demand.   "One of our daughters who was kidnapped on her way from Bayelsa State to Abuja after completing three weeks orientation camp.   The Nigeria Police Force has rescued two Colombian women allegedly lured to Nigeria and held captive by a human trafficking syndicate in Lagos.    The victims, identified as Maria Camila Rodas Ortiz and Yuliet Fernanda Rios Mesa, were rescued by operatives of the National Central Bureau (NCB-INTERPOL), Lagos Annex, following actionable intelligence from INTERPOL-NCB, Bogotá.
