Argentine football legend, Diego Maradona’s son, Diego Armando Maradona Junior, says he’s convinced his father did not die a natural death.   Diego Maradona passed away in November 2020 as a result of heart failure and pulmonary edema according to medical reports provided to his family.  Before his death, Maradona was recuperating from brain surgery at his home in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  But his son Maradona Junior says he knows the person responsible for the death of his father and will continue to fight for justice until the last day of his life. “There is an open investigation. We – his children – have a lot of faith in Argentine justice. I’m convinced that this should not have ended like this,” he told Mediaset. “They killed my father. It is not my job to say who did it, I have my own idea but I can’t say it. They left him to his fate when something could have been done. I made a promise: until the last day of my life, I’ll fight for justice.”

  A New Zealand MP has resigned following multiple allegations of shoplifting.    Golriz Ghahraman, of the Green Party, is alleged to have stolen three times from two clothing stores - one in Auckland and the other in Wellington.   The former UN human rights lawyer made history in 2017 as the first refugee in the country's government. A female teacher jailed for having sex with a pupil has been banned from the classroom for life by watchdogs who ruled the public 'would rightly be appalled' by her behavior.   Convicted paedophile, Kandice Barber, now 38, was jailed for six years and two months in 2021 after being convicted of grooming a 15-year-old and having sex with him in a field. Teaching watchdogs have now revealed that she shamelessly texted the teenager during the fling: 'You cannot make me blush while I am teaching now, poker face lol.' Reacting to the ban, Barber protested her innocence and sent the misconduct panel a note, saying: 'Despite the convictions I have always proclaimed my innocence [sic].'
