Manchester City star, Jack Grealish's mansion was raided for £1million worth of jewellery by thieves on Wednesday night, December 27.     Family of the Manchester City winger who was playing in his side's 3-1 win against Everton at the time were reportedly forced to 'hit panic buttons' inside the house.   According to The Sun, 10 relatives including Grealish's fiancée Sasha Attwood, parents, two sisters, and brother - were watching the match before being alerted by noises upstairs.      The outlet further claim that the family were forced to run and hide for cover inside the mansion that Grealish only moved into before Christmas.  Police reported to the scene immediately and even had a helicopter search the area however the offenders were able to escape with £1million worth of jewellery.       A source told the Sun: 'The family are really shaken.   Maine has become the second US state to disqualify Donald Trump from the 2024 primary ballot.    Democrat and Maine Secretary of State, Shenna Bellows concluded that Trump, the frontrunner for the Republican nomination in 2024, incited an insurrection when he spread false claims about voter fraud in the 2020 election and then urged his supporters to march on the Capitol to stop lawmakers from certifying the vote.     Bellows suspended her decision until the state supreme court ruled on the matter.   The decision came after a group of former Maine lawmakers said that Trump should be disqualified based on a provision of the US Constitution that bars people from holding office if they engaged in “insurrection or rebellion” after previously swearing an oath to the United States.     The ruling, which can be appealed to a state court, applies only to the March primary election, but it could affect Trump’s status for the November general e...

An England footballer has been confirmed dead after her body was found in woodlands.   Gemma Wiseman's body was discovered by a member of the public in woodlands on December 16 near Wilkinson Road in Rackheath, near Norwich just days before Christmas day.  Wiseman leaves behind her wife Laura and daughter, 3, who are 'devastated' by her loss.  Gemma Wiseman, 33, helped guide the United Kingdom to a third-place finish at the World Deaf Football Championship in Italy back in 2016. Since her death, a GoFundMe page has been set up and has raised £7,500.   A statement posted on the site said: 'On December 16, 2023, Gemma sadly took her own life. Her family and friends are absolutely devastated. 'Gemma was a kind and caring person with a great sense of humour.   Russia launched a wave of missile strikes overnight on cities across Ukraine targeting homes, a maternity hospital and a shopping mall. The mass attack comes as President Vladimir Putin vowed "revenge" after Ukraine struck a key Russian warship in the occupied Crimean port of Feodosia.     Explosions were reported in Kyiv, the city's mayor Vitali Klitschko said adding that three people have been trapped under the rubble of a warehouse in the Shevchenkivskyi district.   Other Ukrainian cities including Kharkiv, Lviv and Odesa were also struck, officials said. Unknown gunmen on Thursday, December 28, attacked the convoy of Anambra-based politician, Chris Uba, at Uga junction, which is Uba’s hometown.    According to reports, Uba’s convoy ran into the gunmen at Uga junction in Aguata local government area, leading to a gun battle between the gunmen and the police.   Eyewitnesses say Uba was able to escape because his car was bulletproof, adding that it was during the shoot-out that four persons, including two policemen, were killed.   It was also learnt that the gunmen aimed to kidnap the politician, but did not succeed and it is not clear if the gunmen succeeded in kidnapping anybody in the convoy. Parasite star, Lee Sun-kyun has been finally laid to rest following a tearful funeral at Seoul National University Hospital.      The actor’s family, friends, and fans gathered to say their final goodbyes as they wept beside the vehicle carrying Sun-kyun’s coffin on Friday, December 29.     His wife Jeon Hye-jin, an actress and former Miss Korea contestant, and two sons were also in attendance.      The star's portrait was carried out of the funeral home by his eldest son, followed by his wife who held hands with the couple's youngest child. Lee's friends and co-stars watched the funeral procession filled with tears and sorrow.      Lee was found dead in his car in a suspected suicide at the age of 48 on Wednesday morning.     His wife called the police after finding a suicide note.   "Bling Empire" star Jessey Lee has secured a huge legal victory over his ex-wife, Crystal Hoang Lee who accused him of abusing her and their kids.  Jessey's ex-wife had filed for court-ordered protection from him earlier this month, leveling shocking allegations of violence against him.   Crystal, who was once married to Jessey and has 2 children with him, claimed he hit one of their kids because the child wouldn't go to sleep. She also accused him of causing her to suffer a miscarriage, but her docs didn't go into further detail on that allegation. In the end, the judge dismissed all allegations for lack of evidence.   In her restraining order request, Crystal also accused Jessey of hitting her, leaving their family to go off and gamble, and uprooting the kids.
