American singer, actress and TV personality, Cher has reportedly filed for a conservatorship of her troubled son Elijah Blue Allman, 47, over fears he will spend all his money on drugs.   Legal documents obtained by The NY Post claim that Cher is filing to be the sole conservator of her son’s estate because Allman is “substantially unable to manage his own financial resources.” “[Cher] has been unable to discuss Elijah’s preferences concerning the appointment of a temporary conservator because given Elijah’s current mental and physical health issues, discussed in detail in the concurrently filed Confidential Supplemental Information, he is unable to form or express a preference concerning the appointment of a conservator for his estate,” the docs reportedly read. The Islamic Republic of Iran has claimed that Hamas's October 7 attacks were in revenge for a 2020 assassination of a top Iranian general. The Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) in 2020 called the US strike that killed Qasem Soleimani a "terrorist act" .   On Wednesday, IRGC spokesman Ramazan Sharif directly tied Hamas's October 7 killing spree to the US' slaying of Soleimani and called it "one of the revenges" Iran plans to carry out. Soleimani a top military commander of Iran, was blown up by a US drone in a strike ordered by former President Donald Trump. The attack provoked a furious response from Iran who called on the UN's Security Council to take formal action against both the US and Israel - which it also accused of assisting in the assassination hit.   Danny Masterson has been sent to a California state prison to serve his sentence for two rape convictions.  The "That ‘70s Show" actor was admitted to North Kern State Prison, authorities said Wednesday, Dec. 27.  A prison mug shot of the 47-year-old has been released. The photo shows him wearing orange prison attire, with long hair and a beard.  In June, Masterson was convicted of raping two women in his Los Angeles home in 2003. In September, a judge sentenced him to 30 years to life in prison.  His wife, actor Bijou Phillips, filed for divorce in the weeks that followed after a marriage of nearly 12 years.  He had been held in Los Angeles County jail in the months since while post-sentencing hearings were held and issues resolved, including the turnover of all the guns Masterson owned, some of which had to be located.  It will be more than 25 years before Masterson will be eligible for parole.  Mast...

A Florida woman holding her infant son in a baby carrier was shot dead by her 14-year-old brother while trying to defuse an argument between him and a 15-year-old brother who also was armed, authorities said.   The brothers had been arguing over Christmas gifts when the 14-year-old shot their sister.  The 15-year-old brother then shot his younger brother, though not fatally, for killing their sister on Sunday, Dec. 24, in Largo, Florida, which is located in the Tampa metro area, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.     The argument over gifts started while the three siblings were Christmas shopping with their mother and the sister’s two sons, ages 6 and 11 months. It continued when they went to their grandmother’s house where the sister, 23, told the younger brother to stop arguing with his older brother since it was Christmas Eve. A judge in New York City has rejected a request from Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman to review the 2019 ruling that sentenced him to life in prison.     Guzman, 66, led the powerful Sinaloa cartel that is blamed for thousands of deaths in Mexico for decades.
