The White House has accused Hamas terrorists of failing to release the women civilian hostages after the ceasefire collapsed, as Israel Defense Forces and Hamas continue to exchange fire in Gaza.      White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan emphasized the plight of civilian women seized during the Hamas October 7 raid. There are also  Israeli  military women being held captive.    He was asked during the White House briefing about Hamas' unwillingness to release the balance of civilian women being held in Gaza, following the breakdown of a seven-day cease fire that led to the release of more than 100 hostages, out of a total of about 240 seized during the assault.     'I'm not going to speculate on that, only to say that they haven't done it, and we're gravely concerned about that.   American singer, Ashanti, aged 43 is pregnant with her first child after rekindling her romance with rapper, Nelly earlier this year, it has been revealed.   “Nelly and Ashanti are welcoming their first baby together,” a source reportedly told US weekly. The baby will be Ashanti’s only child, while Nelly, 49, shares daughter Chanelle, 29, and son Cornell Haynes III, 24, with ex Channetta Valentine.   Ashanti, sparked pregnancy speculation over the weekend when she attended Nelly’s Black and White Ball in St. Louis.     During the event, the singer put her hand on her stomach while on stage with Nelly and he did the same. Game of Thrones star, Joseph Gatt has appeared in court on a charge of having sexually explicit contact online with a minor.     The 51-year-old British actor showed up at court in downtown LA on Monday, December 4, with his long-time girlfriend, actress and writer Mercy Malick.     LA Superior Court Judge Kim Nguyen ordered Gatt to be in court for a preliminary hearing she scheduled on December 18 when prosecutors are expected to present internet evidence allegedly found at Gatt's LA home.  He remains free on $5,000 bail.     Gatt told DailyMail after Monday's brief hearing, 'I would love to talk about this but I have been advised by my attorney not to comment at this time.'  He was arrested in Los Angeles in April 2022 and his home was searched by police officers of the Juvenile Division, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, armed with a search warrant.     He was charged with 'contact with a mino...

A young mother swimming off Mexico’s pacific coast was killed while saving her 5-year-old daughter from a shark, which bit off the woman’s leg, causing her to bleed out on the beach.   A distressing video was shared on social media showing the shark attack victim sprawled out on the sand in the town of Melaque on Saturday, Dec. 2,  after being carried from the Pacific Ocean to safety by rescuers.   “She’s lost her leg,” onlookers could be heard saying in the video.     The woman has been identified locally as 26-year-old Maria Fernandez Martinez Jimenez, a former marine biology student at the University of Guadalajara, who lived in the area in the western state of Jalisco.   Jimenez was in the ocean with her daughter when she apparently became aware of a shark in the water and rushed to boost the girl onto a floating play platform located 75 feet from the shore, said Rafael Araiza, the head of the local civil defense office.   The mom had ...

Nigerian star, Victor Osimhen has officially been crowned as the Italian Footballers’ Association (AIC) Footballer of the Year.   Osimhen was selected as the 2023 winner largely due to his goal scoring contributions to Napoli’s title success. The Nigeria international scored 26 times in 32 outings to help the Partenopei win their first Serie A title in 33 years. The 24-year-old, who recently returned to action due to a hamstring injury has scored six times this season. The award has previously been awarded to Rafael Leao, Gianluigi Buffon, Cristiano Ronaldo, Andrea Prilo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.   The AIC awards, which began in 1968, include several notable accolades, including the team of the year, coach of the year, club of the year and goal of the season.

Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi has been nominated for the Nottingham Forest Fans’ Footballer of the Year 2023 award. Awoniyi has been one of the key players for Nottingham Forest, scoring 10 league goals to help Forest survive the drop last season. The former Liverpool forward, who is currently ruled out for months, has scored four goals in 10 Premier League appearances for Forest this season. His impressive performance at the start of the season where he scored in three consecutive games while also providing an assist earned him a nomination for the Player of The Month award in August For the Fans’ Footballer of the Year 2023 award, Awoniyi has been nominated alongside Orel Mangala, Danilo and Morgan Gibbs-White.
