A male-to-female transgender person has been arrested for allegedly plotting to carry out school shootings in Colorado. Colorado authorities thwarted a possible middle school shooting after they arrested the former student who was allegedly planning a massacre inside the building. William Whitworth, who now identifies as Lilly, was taken into custody by the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office on March 31 after it was discovered the 19-year-old had floor plans to Timberview Middle School and allegedly admitted to wanting to shoot up the school, according to an arrest affidavit obtained and reported on by local outlets   Whitworth was originally paid a visit by deputies when the suspect’s sister called authorities to alert them she was lashing out and made school shooting references, the Colorado Springs Gazette reported, citing the affidavit. A woman has been arrested after allegedly having sex with a dog and posting “extremely graphic” videos of the abuse on social media. Denise Frazier, 19, is charged with unnatural intercourse and aggravated cruelty to an animal. Police in Mississippi say they were alerted to a video involving a woman and a male dog by a concerned resident who watched the video on social media.   “In my 17 years in law enforcement, this is one of the most disturbing cases that I’ve ever investigated,” Sergeant J.D. Carter, of Jones County Sheriff’s Department, said. He said the videos “are so graphic” that officers are not even allowed to discuss them.   The prosecution of former US President Donald Trump has evenly divided Americans but appears to have boosted his chances of winning the Republican nomination for the 2024 election, according to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Thursday, April 6.   The poll was conducted on Wednesday and Thursday April 5, following Tuesday's indictment of Trump on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records by prosecutors in New York City. The survey of 1,004 U.S. adults has a credibility interval, a measure of precision, of plus or minus 3.8 percentage points for all respondents and plus or minus 6.3 percentage points for the 368 Republicans who participated in the poll. The survey found that 49% of all Americans think it was right for prosecutors to pursue the first criminal case against a U.S. president or former president. An 18-year-old has reportedly been arrested for breaking into NBA legend Michael Jordan's $15million mansion in Chicago. The 60-year-old Jordan was not in the property at the time, according to TMZ, but the teenager was found inside the building after neighbours alerted the police in the afternoon of Tuesday, April 4.   The teenager named Raiden Hagerdorn by local media has been charged with criminal trespass and two counts of criminal damage to property.   Jordan has not lived at the property since 2012. He has been trying to sell it for 13 years, initially putting it up for sale for $29million. A recent graduate of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba, Akoko (AAUA), Ondo State, has been fatally stabbed by an indigene over a 1,000 naira payment misunderstanding.   The deceased, simply identified as Temitayo, was stabbed with scissors in the early hours of Thursday, April 6, around Ebenco filling, opposite Akua junction, Akungba.   Temitayo was rushed to Aduloju Hospital along Iwaro road where he later succumbed to his injuries.    He recently graduated from the department of Physics Electronics and was still in the school waiting to defend his undergraduate project.   The University’s Student Union source told Peoples Gazette that Temitayo had intervened in a naira payment dispute between an “Egbon Adugbo” and a third party, where he promised to settle the bill for the latter.   Temidayo was able to reimburse the perpetrators 3000 naira out of the 4000 naira but was unable to pay the remaining 1,000 naira outstanding which resulted into...

  The three men convicted of murdering rapper XXXTentacion during a 2018 robbery in South Florida, have been sentenced to life in prison. Dedrick Williams, Michael Boatwright and Trayvon Newsome appeared in a Broward County courtroom on Thursday, April 6, where Judge Michael Usan handed down the mandatory life sentences.     Solomon Sobande, the manager for the rapper whose real name was Jahseh Onfroy, read a statement on behalf of the family during Thursday's sentencing. He lamented the fact that XXXTentacion never got to meet his son, who was born seven months after the killing.   "This is a loss we will never truly recover from," Sobande said. "We will never get to see Jahseh live to his full potential, we will never get to watch him grow old, we will never get to watch him be a father." Prosecutors had not sought the death penalty.
