  Bollywood actor and director, Satish Kaushik has died at the age of 66. The actor's nephew Nishaan Kaushik confirmed his death, saying the actor suffered a heart attack on Thursday morning, March 9., in India's capital Delhi. Satish's best friend Anupam Kher also took to Twitter to pay tribute to the Bollywood icon, penning: 'I know 'death is the ultimate truth of this world' But I never thought in my dreams that I would write this thing about my best friend #SatishKaushik while alive. The United States' Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has been hospitalized after a fall at a hotel in Washington, DC. The fall happened at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Washington, DC, on Wednesday evening, March 8 according to reports.   “This evening, Leader McConnell tripped at a local hotel during a private dinner. He has been admitted to the hospital where he is receiving treatment,” a spokesperson for the Kentucky Republican said in a statement. The 81-year-old is the Senate’s longest-serving GOP leader, known for helping the party achieve key Republican priorities, including filling the Supreme Court with conservative justices, passing Trump-era tax cuts and frequently thwarting Democrats’ legislative agenda.   It's not the first time the politician is having an accidental fall. McConnell fell at his Kentucky home in 2019, fracturing his shoulder.

Alex Murdaugh, the American lawyer who is serving two life sentences after being convicted of murdering his wife and 22-year-old son, is now being held in the most secure area of a South Carolina prison following reports of other inmates wanting to take him down due to his notoriety.   After it was uncovered that his infamy could put him at risk, South Carolina's Department of Corrections has placed Murdaugh in a single cell at the Kirkland Correctional Institution, Columbia, where he is being held.    Murdaugh's single cell is made of concrete with a steel bed, toilet and sink. It's a stark contrast to the privileged lifestyle the disgraced powerhouse attorney once led.   He is now u nder constant surveillance and he's not allowed to even eat with other inmates.   Erica Herman, Tiger Woods’ ex-girlfriend is suing him for $30million, adding that she should still be living in his house, despite the both of them not being in a relationship. Erica Herman had been living with him in Florida for the duration of their six-year relationship. During that time, the ex-restaurant manager claimed she performed ‘valuable services’ for the 47 year old golfer in lieu of paying rent. FIFA president Gianni Infantino has been cleared by Swiss prosecutors of any wrongdoing over his use of a private jet in 2017. Infantino chartered a flight from Suriname to Switzerland and prosecutor Stefan Keller called for a criminal investigation as a result, which has now been dropped. FIFA's ethics committee abandoned its own investigation into the use of the jet back in August 2020 due to 'the evident lack of a prima facie case regarding any alleged breach of the FIFA code of ethics' - and now a crimical case in Switzerland has also been shelved.   'FIFA welcomes the decision of the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland (OAG), which has closed the investigation against FIFA President Gianni Infantino related to a private jet being chartered to fly from Suriname to Switzerland in 2017,' a statement from FIFA reads. Former NBA star Shawn Kemp was arrested on Wednesday, March 8, following an alleged drive-by shooting in Washington. Tacoma Police Department said an altercation between drivers of two cars broke out around 2pm which resulted in shots being fired in a shopping mall parking lot. One car fled the scene and a gun was recovered. No injuries were reported.   53-year-old Kemp, a six-time All-Star was booked for felony drive-by shooting at 5:58 PM and is still in custody at the Pierce County Jail, according to records.   The drive-by shooting which is a class B felony, carries up to a 10-year prison sentence.   Kemp was previously arrested on two drug-related incidents in 2005 and 2006. A 39-year-old drug addict who was filmed cutting up and eating her pet hamster called “Mr Nibbles” has been handed a 12-month jail sentence. Emma Parker was seen in a 27-second viral footage forcing a large knife into a hamster ball containing the animal. She was also spotted holding a bottle of water before eating the two dissected halves of the hamster.   Gordon Holt, prosecuting at Lincoln Crown Court, said:  "The two videos seen on social media showed the defendant with a hamster in a hamster ball. “The defendant is holding the ball with a knife in the other hand . “She takes the knife and plunges it through the opening of the ball moving the knife from side to side. “A spectator is heard laughing and says, ‘You are a sick bastard you are’.”   Footage of Parker, from Great Gonerby, Lincs, was sent to the RSPCA by a concerned member of the public.   During a police interview Parker admitted the video was her and claimed she was helping the hamster to die afte...
