Shamaiya Deyonshana Hall, a 25-year-old Texas mother, is in custody and has been charged with three counts of capital murder after stabbing five of her children, and killing three, during a surprise CPS home visit.    It is reported that the incident occurred on Friday afternoon, March 3, at a home in Italy, Texas.   Child Protective Services was conducting a surprise visit at the home and it turned deadly.   Tiffani Butlerm who works with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, says the kids, who are all siblings, were in “temporary CPS care,” and CPS officials believed that the mom might have been having unsupervised visits with her kids, so they did an unannounced visit.   Butler says that CPS previously gave guardianship of the children, aged 6 and under, to another relative.    Upon conducting the surprise visit that Friday, the caseworker would end up calling  911  around 4 p.m.   When police arrived, they fo...

  North Korea has threatened to take "quick, overwhelming action" after the United States flew a nuclear-capable B-52 bomber over the Korean Peninsula in an exercise with South Korean warplanes. Kim Yo Jong, the sister of North Korean president, Kim Jong-Un, made the threat as the U.S. and South Korea continue to carry out joint military exercises. "We keep our eye on the restless military moves by the U.S. forces and the South Korean puppet military and are always on standby to take appropriate, quick and overwhelming action at any time according to our judgment," Kim Yo Jong said in the statement, as reported by state media.     She added, "The demonstrative military moves and all sorts of rhetoric by the U.S. and South Korea, which go so extremely frantic as not to be overlooked, undoubtedly provide (North Korea) with conditions for being forced to do something to cope with them."   Comedian Mike Epps is now under investigation after a loaded gun was found in one of his bags at an Indianapolis Airport.  TMZ reported that the police responded to a firearms investigation on Sunday, March 5, at the Indianapolis Airport after being alerted about the loaded gun found in Epps' bag at a checkpoint.      The legal documents revealed that the comedian mentioned being in town for a show, and forgot the piece was in his bag. Upon investigation, the police said they found a .38 Special Airweight with 4 rounds loaded, but none in the chamber.   The gun and ammo were all taken as evidence. Officials at Indianapolis Airport police said Epps wasn't arrested, but the report was forwarded to the Marion County Prosecutor's Office to determine if charges should be filed.  

  Two of the Americans who were kidnapped last week have been found dead and two others alive, Mexican authorities have revealed.  Americo Villareal Anaya, the governor of the state of Tamaulipas, where the group was ambushed at gunpoint on Friday, March 3, confirmed the news in a phone call with Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador on Tuesday morning, March 7.  He said that one of the survivors was wounded, and that ambulances were "rushing to the area to recover them and offer them medical care."  López Obrador said later Tuesday that one suspect was in custody, according to the Associated Press.  "Those responsible will be found and they are going to be punished," he said.  The FBI has said the U.S. citizens crossed over into Matamoros, Tamaulipas, from Brownsville, Texas, on Friday, driving a white minivan with North Carolina plates.  The FBI said a gunmen fired upon the passengers before moving them into...

Two Nigerian nationals have been arrested at the Mumbai airport for trying to smuggle in cocaine worth nearly Rs 30 crore packed in capsules ingested by them, an official from the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) said on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.      Acting on intelligence inputs, DRI officials intercepted two passengers after they arrived at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International airport from Lagos via Addis Ababa on Friday, the official said.     DRI officials produced the duo in a court and sought their medical examination on the grounds that they might have concealed drugs in their bodies.     Later, a medical examination confirmed that the two passengers had ingested capsules containing some substance.
