Paris St-Germain coach,  Christophe Galtier has reportedly been taken into police custody over allegations of discrimination during his time in charge of Nice. The 56-year-old, who is understood to be on his way out of PSG this summer, spent 12 months with Nice before making the move to the Parc des Princes last year.   According to French television channel RMC Sport, Galtier and his adopted son John Valovic-Galtier, who also works as his advisor, were taken into police custody at 8:45am on Friday as part of an investigation into alleged discrimination at Nice.   The father and son were said to have been summoned by investigators looking into accusations of racism at the Ligue 1 club. French newspaper L'Equipe claim the pair are facing accusations of racism from ex-Nice sporting director Julien Fournier.   Manchester United and Chelsea have agreed terms for Mason Mount to move to Old Trafford in a deal worth up to £60million. The two clubs re-opened negotiations on Thursday and settled on a fee of £55m plus £5m in add-ons after United had three offers rejected by Chelsea, who initially demanded £70m for Mount. The 24-year-old England international will undergo a medical next week before signing a five-contract worth £250,000-a-week with the option of another year. United were initially reluctant to overpay for a player who was entering the final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge. He has been at Chelsea since the age of six and scored 33 goals in 195 appearances for the club, winning the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and the Club World Cup. United will now step up their pursuit of a new goalkeeper as talks continue with Inter Milan's £50m-rated Andre Onana who played under the Dutch coach at Ajax.

  Anita Brown, the American lady accusing Davido of impregnating her, has promised to to get American work visa for all Davido's baby mamas.  Anita said she is doing this to ensure that all the singer's baby mamas, who she claims are “unpaid and struggling" get what they deserve from him.   San Antonio Spurs guard Devonte' Graham has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of driving while impaired, stemming from his July 2022 arrest.    The 28-year-old NBA player was initially hit with the two charges back on July 7, 2022 ... after authorities in Raleigh, North Carolina say he had been doing 63 MPH in a 40 MPH zone while intoxicated at around 3 AM. Police at the time said after pulling over Graham for speeding, breath tests revealed he had a BAC of .11.   A spokesperson for the Wake County District Attorney's Office said Graham entered the plea during a court hearing on Tuesday, June 27, after cutting a deal with prosecutors.   While the speeding charge that Graham was also facing in the case will be dismissed as part of the deal, the sentencing hearing for Graham has now been slated for next month.   Graham, a former second-round pick in the 2018 NBA Draft was playing for the New Orleans Pelicans at the time of the arrest.       The Kremlin has announced it is in support of Pope Francis’s efforts to end the war in Ukraine as it announced a vatican envoy would hold talks with President Vladimir Putin’s government in Moscow.   Cardinal Matteo Maria Zuppi began a Russia visit on Tuesday, June 27 in a first of such trip since Putin sent troops to Ukraine in February 2022, the Kremlin said on Thursday. The meeting takes greater significance as high-ranking Catholic clerics are rarely seen in Moscow, which no Pope has ever visited.   Zuppi’s trip comes several weeks after he met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv.  “We highly value the efforts and initiatives of the Vatican in looking for a peaceful solution to the Ukrainian crisis,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. “We welcome them.”   He said Zuppi was due to hold talks with Putin’s foreign policy advisor Yuri Ushakov. Idris Elba has revealed being mentioned as a possible actor in the James Bond role has always been an honour to him, but talks about his race has turned him off from ever doing it.   During a recent interview on the SmartLess podcast, Elba briefly spoke about the rumours that he could one day play the James Bond role. He said that when he first heard them, it was a huge compliment for the actor.   “The truth is, I was super complimented for a long time about this,” Elba said (via Variety). “I was like, ‘This is crazy!’ James Bond…We’re all actors and we understand that role. Former NFL star, Cedric Killings has died at the age of 45 following a battle with pancreatic cancer.   Killings, who spent seven years in the NFL before a fractured vertebra brought his career to an abrupt end, enjoyed spells with the San Francisco 49ers, Houston Texans, and more.   The defensive lineman tragically passed away on June 21 from pancreatic cancer, with his wife Shavon paying tribute to an 'all-round great person' while expressing her disbelief at the news.   She wrote in an emotional post on Facebook: 'My love, my best friend, my husband of 21 years is no longer physically with me but he lives in my heart and in the hearts of our three children.  'I'm comforted in knowing he is resting and no longer in pain, but I'm still at a loss and can't believe this is real.   'If you've ever had the pleasure of meeting him then you already know how special he is.   The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has suspended indefinitely, actor Jerry Williams, over allegations of drug abuse.  A statement released by AGN’s National President, Emeka Rollas, MON, says the body has been monitoring Jerry’s alleged involvement in illicit substances since last December, until it got out of hand. Rollas said the actor cannot be allowed to associate with other performers on set to avoid ‘’endangering their lives.'' According to him, the situation is about fellow actors’ safety.   The statement reads in part:  “The Guild has been monitoring his involvement in illicit substances since December last year, until it got out of hand and as it is now, he cannot be allowed to associate with other performers on set due to danger. Nigerian singer, Davido has shared his first social media post, hours after an American lady, Anita, and a French lady, Ivanna Bay, accused him of getting them pregnant.   Recall that Anita had taken to Instagram on Tuesday night June 26, to call out the singer, accusing him of getting her pregnant. According to Anita, they met in Dubai 2017, and it was not a one night stand as they kept communicating.   Anita   She went as far as conducting a pregnancy test which showed she was pregnant, and sharing videos of the test on Instagram.   Hours after Anita's post, Ivanna Bay took to Instagram to claim that she is also pregnant for Davido. American comedian, Pete Davidson has reportedly checked into a rehab after struggling with his mental health.  Sources told TMZ that Davidson suffers from borderline personality disorder and PTSD, and is now in rehab due to his recent struggles with his mental health.  His girlfriend, Chase Sui Wonders , and his other friends are rallying behind him and are by his side. Pete periodically checks himself in to work on these issues and better himself.   The comedian has always been open in the past, about his struggle with mental health. He often lays it out during his 'Weekend Update' segments on the long-running variety series.   He also got candid during a 2021 "Actors on Actors" Variety interview, telling Glenn Close he felt like the weight of the world was lifted off his shoulders when he was diagnosed with BPD.

Manchester United goalkeeper, David de Gea has shared a cryptic 'yawning' tweet as he faces exit after Erik ten Hag's uncertainty over him sparked U-turn on his new contract.   The Spaniard, 32, has made 545 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils since joining for around £19million in summer 2011.   The Red Devils have been weighing up whether to offer him a new deal given his inconsistency and bumper £350,000-a-week wages. A French lady, Ivanna Bay has also accused Nigerian music star, Davido of impregnating her.  This is coming hours after an American lady went public with her pregnancy for Davido with “receipts”.   Ivanna shared a purported chat with the Nigerian singer to backup her claim of being impregnated by him. She also shared a video of her carrying out a pregnancy test which confirmed that she is pregnant.     

American actor, Kevin Spacey has arrived in court to stand trial accused of s3x offenses. Spacey, 63, arrived at Southwark Crown Court before 9am in a black taxi, wearing a dark blue suit with a light blue shirt and pink tie. The jury trying the Hollywood star over allegations of 12 sexual offences against four men, have been told watching his films does not bar them from the case.     The actor is listed in court under his full name Kevin Spacey Fowler and faces eight allegations of sexual assault, three indecent assaults and a charge of causing a man to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent.   Italian football has banned players from wearing the No 88 shirt because of its links to Adolf Hitler in a clampdown on anti-Semitism. The number has been used by neo-Nazi groups to symbolise the slogan 'Heil Hitler' with the letter 'H' being the eighth number of the alphabet.   Back in  March, a fan was seen wearing a Lazio shirt with the name 'Hitlerson' and the No 88 on the back. That supporter and two others who performed  'Roman salutes' associated with fascism were banned from attending any games at the Stadio Olimpico in the future.   Gianluigi Buffon is the highest profile player to wear the No 88 shirt in the past during his time at Parma, but he later changed numbers after he admitted he 'didn't know the hidden meaning' of 88.   Members of Italy's government and Italian Football Association (FIGC) president Gabriele Gravina signed an agreement on Tuesday to ban players from wearing the number.   The ban also calls...

Four years after he shared his “pie-in-the-sky ambition” to play Superman one day, David Corenswet has been announced as the next Clark Kent .   The film's director,   James Gunn made the announcement. American lady, Anita Brown, who is claiming she is expecting a child with Davido, has denied claims that she’s a porn star. Earlier today, some Nigerians dug up x-rated videos of Anita on a website.   In a series of tweets, Anita denied being a porn star. According to her, any sexual video of her was probably the one she did with her ex many years ago. Read her tweets below      

"General Hospital" star Haley Pullos has been charged by the L.A. County D.A. after getting cuffed after a near-fatal DUI. Haley was arrested in April after cops accused her of driving the wrong way on a freeway and colliding head-on with another car that was going about 60 mph. Cops said Haley was also involved in a hit-and-run before the crash.      Officers added that they found edibles and mini-bottles of tequila during a search of the vehicle. It was also alleged that she showed clear signs of intoxication.   The actress has now been charged with one felony count of DUI causing injury, one felony count of driving with a .08 BAC or higher, and one misdemeanor count of hit-and-run.      The actress pled not guilty and a preliminary hearing is set for next month. Haley us also being sued by the driver with whom she collided. He was rushed to the hospital and in critical condition.

Nigerians are reacting to the pregnancy scandal involving singer Davido and an American lady, Anita Brown.  Anita claims she met Davido in December 2017 and they have been an item. She alleged that she is currently pregnant for the singer. She also claimed that she never knew he was married to Chioma.   Nigerians on social media are currently reacting to the scandal.
