The operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, have arrested a female drug dealer with seventy-eight bags of cannabis sativa.  The Director, Media and Advocacy of the agency, Femi Babafemi disclosed this in a statement on Sunday, October 9, 2022.    Babafemi said that the suspect, Peace Ayuba, was arrested on Friday, October 7 at Kakau Gonin Gora area of Kaduna State with the drugs weighing 849.5kgs.    Meanwhile, operatives in Sokoto state arrested Onyeka Owo, 28, with 443 bottles of codeine based syrup.     

A Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) soldier shot and killed his girlfriend before turning the gun on himself.    The soldier identified as Emmanuel Walugu Onyango shot himself on the chin with an AK-47 rifle while dressed in full military combat.   This is after he had sprayed the body of Ms Immaculate Mwende Mwirigi with bullets in what police believe to be a case of love gone sour.   The bodies of the two were found in an apartment in Nanyuki town where they reportedly lived together.    A resident of an apartment alerted police that she had heard gunshots near her neighbour’s house at around 9:30pm on Friday, October 7, 2022.    Laikipia County Criminal Investigation Officer (CCIO) Mr Onesmus Towett, who confirmed the incident on Friday, said police officers rushed to the scene but found the door of the house locked from inside.   The officers were then forced to break into the house where they found the two...

Emails, text messages, and photographs and other evidence that prosecutors could use at trial if US president, Joe Biden's son Hunter, is charged with tax crimes and lying on gun purchase documents, has been released by UK tabloid, DailyMail.   The FBI believes it has enough evidence to charge Hunter Biden with failure to declare income from his foreign business deals and a failure to declare he was a drug addict on a gun application, sources told The Washington Post on Thursday.  Agents told the Post they assembled enough evidence for a criminal case against the First Son 'months ago'  and the decision to charge now lies with federal prosecutors.   The agents claim they have sufficient proof that Hunter failed to declare income from his overseas business dealings to the IRS.   The First Son also wrote on a gun application that he was not a user of illegal drugs, but later admitted in his own memoir that he was a crack addi...

A 28-year-old Nigerian woman identified as Amelia Pounds, has reportedly died following complications during liposuction surgery in India.  It was gathered that the businesswoman died during the surgery at an undisclosed hospital in New Delhi on Friday morning, October 7, 2022. Shakira took to Instagram to pour out her heart months after Gerard Pique left her for a younger woman. The singer and footballer were together for 12 years and have 2 sons together. However,  it was revealed earlier this year that Gerard has moved on with PR student, Clara Chía Matí, 23. Shakira has maintained a dignified silence since the split but took to Instagram to express her pain. She shared a video of a man crushing a heart beneath his shoe and wrote in the caption:   "I never said anything but it hurt. I knew this would happen."
