Comedian Seyi Law has lost his mother.    Seyi who shared the sad news on Instagram, said his mother spoke with him and his family before her death.    He wrote;   MY DEAR MOTHER, MY DARLING QUEEN IS GONE. I saw a flash of light entered my room, I saw a full moon and then, my phone rang that my beloved Queen has ended her journey. I am grateful to you, my beautiful mother for speaking to my family yesterday before you removed this earthly body. You sang with Tifeoluwa, spoke with Tiwaloluwa and my wife and encouraged me. A notorious cultist and ex-convict has been arrested for robbery in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa state capital.  The suspect identified as Oyinkumor Benson aka Bode, was arrested by the Bayelsa State Volunteers led by its chairman, Hon Oyinkuro Lucky Asanakpo.   The gang leader who just returned from a three year sojourn at Okaka correctional centre was alleged to have stolen laptops and phones from his victim a few days ago.    The young man who had been on the surveillance list of the agency was finally traced to the Amarata axis of Yenagoa over the weekend where he was arrested.    During interrogation, he confessed committing the crime and was promptly handed over to the conventional Police Force (the Operation Doo-Akpo) for further investigation.    In his reaction, Asanakpo on behalf of the security head of the state, Brigadier Gen. R&B singer Jesse Powell has passed away according to his sister, Tamara Powell via Instagram.   "It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother and uncle Jesse Powell. He passed away peacefully in his Los Angeles home," the statement said.   "The family asks for privacy at this time as we mourn the tremendous loss and celebrate his everlasting legacy. Jesse loved music and he especially loved his fans who supported him throughout his career. We want you all to know that you meant the world to him."     At this time, there isn’t any information on the cause of death or the exact date of his death.   Jesse was 51.   Jesse was one of the artists who helped contemporary R&B get mainstream look in the 1990s.   He made his mark on R&B after signing with Silas/MCA in the mid 90’s and releasing his self-titled debut album.
