Haryana Police has arrested a Nigerian national wanted for allegedly smuggling 280 gram heroin worth over N1.2m.  The accused identified simply as Nnamdi was arrested from Delhi on Tuesday, April 12.  Fatehabad SP Surender Singh Bhoria said the Anti-Narcotic Cell had recently arrested two youths Sanjay and Akshay from Tohana town of Fatehabad and recovered 280 grams of heroin from their possession.  During interrogation, Akshay revealed that he had bought heroin from Nnamdi who was staying in Delhi. Following the information, a police team was sent to Delhi to arrest him. The accused was produced before a court which sent him to three-day police custody.

  Gunmen suspected to be assassins have killed an Ebonyi businessman, Issac Nnaemeka Chukwu, nine days to his wedding. Chukwu was shot dead by the assailants in front of his fiancé, Favour Chioma Nworie, in Abakaliki, on Monday, April 11.  The deceased, popularly known as Ochudo, from Ikwo Local Government Area of the state, and Chioma, were set to wed next week.  The traditional wedding was to take place on April 21 at his fiance’s father’s compound in Ikwo, while the church wedding was slated for April 23.   A relative who quoted the fiancee, said that Chukwu was shot at night after closing one of his shops as he made to enter his car.   “He has a shop at International Market where he deals on provision goods.   Hollywood actor, Frank Langella is under investigation for sexual harassment following his alleged behavior on the set of the Netflix limited series The Fall of the House of Usher.   The New Jersey-born actor, 84, has been accused of multiple instances of inappropriate behavior on the British Columbia, Canada set of the show, production sources told TMZ Wednesday but hasn't been fired or suspended.   The source told the outlet that a joke Langella told that had sexual overtones, and an instance in which he touched the leg of a female actress (during a scripted performance) and joked, 'Did you like that?'   The production of the Netflix limited series has not been impacted by the probe, sources told the outlet, as Langella did not have any scenes to film this week.   Police told the outlet that no reports have been filed in connection with the veteran actor. A Florida girl is accused of attacking her father over a sex toy. 18-year-old Victoria Marson ordered a strap-on toy from Amazon and her father opened up the package.  He then confronted his daughter as he was surprised by what was inside, according to the Indian River County Sheriff's Office. The father said his daughter became angry and started to kick him and punch him several times. The arrest report went on to say that Marson said to her father, "I'm going to kill you. I hate you." She was subsequently arrested on battery charges and made bail.

The Nigeria Security Civil Defence Corps have arrested 13 suspects for allegedly abducting an 18-year-old girl in Kogi State. The suspects identified as Mohammed Abdul (25), Mohammed Ibrahim (24), Samuel Adesina (23), Malik Mohammed (24), Olatoyor Mathew (26), Tenimu Abubakar (25), Shittu Ibrahim, Momoh Friday (22), Abdullah Idris (21), Oluyomi Adesewa (24), Mariam Mohammed (22), Yakubu Neifisat (25), and Samson Rosemary (22) were paraded on Tuesday April 12, by Kogi State Commandant of the NSCDC, Suleiman Mafara.  Mafara said the teenager, Elizabeth, was kidnapped on April 10, 2022, by a kidnap syndicate. He added that through intelligence gathering, his officers uncovered the hideout of the hoodlums and rescued the victim alive.
