Cardi B has deactivated her Twitter and Instagram accounts after engaging in a war of words with Twitter users who called her out for skipping Grammys 2022. It began when fans noticed Cardi was not at the Grammys, though her followers thought she would be there. A fan then wrote: "My thing is, why hype us up if you know [you’re] not going from the jump? FIFA are facing calls to sanction Iran and also throw the national team out of the 2022 World Cup finals, over the Islamic republic’s recent ban on women attending an international soccer match. Iranian news agencies confirmed that 2,000 women who had bought tickets for Tuesday’s World Cup qualifier against Lebanon in the northeastern city of Mashhad could not enter the stadium.   Activists based outside Iran accused the authorities of using pepper spray at close range to disperse women, who then protested the ban outside the venue.   The world's richest man, Elon Musk has bought a 9.2% stake in Twitter, according to a US securities filing, which makes him the company's largest shareholder. The Tesla founder and tech guru bought 73,486,938 Twitter shares on 14 March, according to the US Securities and Exchange Commission, which is worth $2.89bn (£2.20bn), and is more than four times the 2.25% holding of Twitter founder Jack Dorsey.  The news sent Twitter shares soaring about 25% in pre-market trading on Monday, April 4.  Musk, a regular Twitter user with more than 80 million followers, recently he said he is giving "serious thought" to building a new social media platform, after asking his followers whether they thought the social media platform encouraged free speech.
