  No less than 9.5 million tablets of pharmaceutical opioids: Tramadol and Exol 5 worth over N5billion have been seized at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, Ikeja Lagos, the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and Edo state by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, and the Nigerian Customs Service, NCS.   Director, Media & Advocacy of the agency, Femi Babafemi, in a statement on Sunday, April 3, said that of the figure, 214 cartons of Tramadol 225 under 10 different brand names, which translate to 9, 219, 400 tablets weighing 6, 384.5kg, with an estimated street value of N4, 609, 700, 000 were transferred on Tuesday 29th March alongside 85 cartons of dried Khat leaves with a total weight of 1, 327.35kg by the Nigerian Customs to the MMIA Command of NDLEA as a symbol of the synergy between the two law enforcement agencies.   In Abuja, about 228,740 tablets and capsules of Tramadol and Exol 5 were intercepted on Frida...

  Estelle Harris who memorably played George’s mother Estelle Costanza on “Seinfeld” and also was the indelible voice of Mrs. Potato Head in the “Toy Story” franchise is dead.    Her representative Michael Eisenstadt told Variety that she died of natural causes at the age of 93.  Harris was best known for her distinctive voice and comedic timing, forever cemented by her role as the mother of George (Jason Alexander) in “Seinfeld,” where she appeared on 27 episodes.   Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel has split from his wife of 13-years, Sissi, with the German facing a multi-million-pound divorce settlement. According to the publication, his wife Sissi began divorce proceedings last week, with friends saying that 'all avenues are exhausted' when it comes to hopes of a reconciliation. 'Sissi and Thomas have tried to avoid splitting but in the end there was no other way,' said a source.   'It is very sad and now it is all about making sure their daughters are the top priority.   Roman Catholic church leader, Pope Francis has said that he is studying a possible visit to Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine as he blasted Russian President Vladimir Putin for launching a "savage" war. Speaking on Saturday, April 2 as he arrived in Malta, he delivered his most pointed and personalized denunciation of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.     Pope Francis avoided referring to Russia or Mr Putin by name, but described him as as "some potentate" who had unleashed the threat of nuclear war on the world in an "infantile and destructive aggression" under the guise of "anachronist claims of nationalistic interests."
