Former footballer and Chelsea Football Club star, Ashley Cole is engaged to his model girlfriend Sharon Canu.  Cole took to Instagram to share the news alongside Sharon, who told fans she was celebrating the "easiest yes she'd ever said". Ashley, 41, reposted a clip of the pair sharing an intimate kiss after the footballer got down on one knee in front of bouquets of roses. Dressed in a grey suit and white shirt, the star placed his arms around his fiancee, who held onto his face as she gave him a kiss. Stunning in a long brown dress, Sharon wrote to fans over the snap, tagging her beau: "The easiest 'yes' I've ever said."     Ashley, who was divorced from singer Cheryl 12 years ago, went on to repost the photograph to his own fans, tagging the model alongside a series of red heart emojis. Davido has featured in an official soundtrack for World Cup.  The Nigerian singer is part of a group of musicians who have put together the official soundtrack for the 2022 World Cup holding in Qatar. The song titled ‘Hayya Hayya’ (Better Together) also features American singers Trinidad Cardona and AISHA. His participation means he becomes the first Nigerian artiste to feature in an official FIFA World Cup final soundtrack. The award-winning artiste took to Twitter to make the announcement, tweeting, “I’m honored to be featured on the Official ?@FIFAWorldCup? 2022 Soundtrack ! See y’all later 2NITE ! This one is for Africa ! TULE!!!! WE RISE !”  

Russia has accused Ukraine of sending attack helicopters across the border to strike an oil storage facility in what would be the first raid on Russian soil since the outbreak of the war if confirmed. Ukraine has not confirmed that it launched the attack, raising questions about whether Russian negligence may be to blame. A Russian governor in the border region of Belgorod said that early on Friday April 1, two Ukrainian Mi-24 helicopters crossed the border at low altitude before firing rockets at an oil facility 25 miles from the border. Ukraine’s foreign minister, Dmytro Kuleba, said he could not confirm or deny reports of Ukrainian involvement in the strike as he did not have military information, Reuters reported. The Ukrainian defence ministry has not responded for a request for comment.
