Adele, a Grammy-winning singer, says her upcoming album is recorded to help Angelo, her nine-year-old son, understand why she divorced his dad when he’s older. The music star was reflecting on her music career, marriage and the inspiration behind her forthcoming album in an interview with Vogue. During the interview, Adele said her young son has been asking a lot of “really innocent questions” to which she cannot provide the answer. The 33-year-old said the development inspired her to record the album to better explain her emotions and the decision to split from Konecki to him.   “My son has had a lot of questions. Iran’s first president after the 1979 Islamic revolution, Abolhassan Banisadr, died in a Paris hospital on Saturday aged 88, after decades of exile in France following his dismissal by parliament. “After a long illness, Abolhassan Banisadr died on Saturday at the (Pitie-)Salpetriere hospital” in southeast Paris, official IRNA news agency said, citing a source close to the former president. His family in France confirmed his death. “We would like to inform the honourable people of Iran and all the activists of independence and freedom that… Abolhassan Banisadr has passed away… after a long struggle with illness,” they said in a statement.   The family statement hailed Banisadr as someone who “defended freedoms”. Lebanon has been plunged into darkness after the country’s two main power stations ran out of fuel. The power outage is expected to last for ‘several days’ after al Zahrani and the Deir Ammar power stations stopped working after supplies of diesel were apparently exhausted, and energy production dropped to below 200 megawatts ( which is only enough to power approximately 5,000 homes). A government official said the blackout could last all weekend, leaving the population of around six million people in total darkness.     The official said;     ‘The Lebanese power network completely stopped working at noon today, and it is unlikely that it will work until next Monday, or for several days.’ Blackouts have been a problem in Lebanon since the end of its 15-year civil war in 1990, and the small country relies heavily on imported fuel. Many citizens rely on private generators that run on diesel, although that is also in shor...
