China has flown 10 fighter jets into Taiwan airspace after sending planes over 15 times in two weeks, reigniting World War 3 fears. Taipei's Defense Ministry said 10 Chinese military planes entered Taiwan's air defense identification zone (ADIZ) today, marking the 15th intrusion just this month. In response, Taiwan reportedly dispatched air patrol troops to respond, issued radio warnings, and deployed air defense missile systems to monitor the activity. The National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has rejected the court which ordered suspension of their ongoing strike.  Justice Bashir Alkali gave the ruling on Friday September 17, following an interlocutory application brought by the Federal Government of Nigeria and Federal Ministry of Health against the Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD).  However in a statement signed by NARD's President Uyilawa Okhuaihesuyi, and Jerry Isogun, the group's secretary-general, the National Industrial Court in Abuja was accused of denying the doctors fair hearing by refusing to hear their objection, before taking the government’s application for interlocutory injunction.   NARD said it has instructed its lawyers to appeal the ruling and file an application for stay of execution.    The statement read;    “As we are all aware, especially those that were present in court today (Friday), the NIC has...

An Alabama woman was arrested after allegedly fighting an 11-year-old she suspected of bullying her child. Nannatt Waldrop, 37, is accused of boarding a yellow bus in the town of Center Point at 7:18 a.m. Tuesday morning, September 14, and getting in a fight with the 11-year-old she believed was picking on her child, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department. A video of the incident went viral and brought it to the attention of authorities, who arrested Waldrop. It's unknown if the child suffered any injuries. The Superintendent of Jefferson County Schools, Dr. Walter Gonsoulin, condemned the incident. He said it was "unacceptable" and added that "it will not be tolerated," according to NBC 15. The Taliban appear to have shut down the women's affairs ministry and replaced it with the 'Morality police' a department that once enforced strict religious doctrines in the country before the US invasion in 2001. Footage on social media posted on Friday, September 17, shows the sign at the ministry was removed, and a sign for the ministry of 'virtue and vice' also known as 'morality' put in its place.     Footage also shows women employees outside the offices, urging the Taliban to let them return to work.     In the last 20 years Afghan women have  gained a number of basic rights, but that progress is being halted by the Taliban's new all-male interim government. US rapper T.I. and his wife Tiny will not be prosecuted by Los Angeles officials over a 2005 sexual assault allegations, because the statute of limitations in the case has expired.  The statute of limitations in such cases is 10 years, and the decision to decline the case was based on that timeline, according to documents from the Los Angeles County district attorney's office. The document reads;    "Without the strength and weaknesses of the evidence being evaluated, the case is declined due to the expiration of the Statute of Limitations." The update was given after a woman reported to Los Angeles police that while with friends in 2005, she met the couple and believed they sexually assaulted her. US rapper SpotemGottem has been admitted in a hospital after being shot in a drive-by shooting on Friday September 17.  TMZ reported that law enforcement sources said the shooting took place around 3 a.m. local time on Friday September 17. It was learnt that another car pulled up alongside his and shot at least 22 times on the driver's side.   The driver told cops that he was driving southbound on I-95 when gunshots started ringing out from another car. The driver was shot in his hip, while Spotemgottem suffered gunshot wounds to both legs. They were both taken to a local hospital in stable condition. Manager of the 19-year-old rapper, Dee Phatboy also confirmed the shooting. Operatives of the Enugu Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC have arrested 16 suspected internet fraudsters in three separate sting operations in the Monarch area, New Haven Extension and Castle Majestic Hotel, Ogui Road, Enugu. The suspects were arrested following verified intelligence on their alleged involvement in internet-related fraud activities. Part of the intelligence indicated that suspected internet fraudsters were operating from Castle Majestic Hotel, Enugu. Based on the intelligence, and weeks of surveillance, a search warrant was executed on the facility on Thursday September 16, 2021.     In the course of the operation, the operatives encountered a group that identified themselves as members of the National Association of Nigerian students, NANS and Ohaneze Ndi Igbo Youth wing.
