Taliban announced on Sunday that henceforth gender-segregated education will be allowed at Afghanistan universities. According to them, co-education is un-Islamic and against the country’s national and traditional values. “Co-education conflicts with the principles of Islam and, on the other hand, it is in conflict with national values and is against the customs and traditions of Afghans,” the Taliban’s higher education minister, Shaikh Abdul Baqi Haqqani, said at a press conference on Sunday. If the universities have the capacities, campuses should be segregated by gender, if that is not possible, the universities should establish alternate class timing or ensure a partition between male and female students in the classrooms, Haqqani said. The group wants to hire female lecturers for female students, but if that was impossible, men will be allowed to teach women as long as the classes follow sharia rules, he added.   A woman dressed as a nun was pictured dancing with skeletons beside a graveyard. The woman was seen just outside the old Hull General Cemetery in England. She appeared to be dancing with what appeared to be a human skeleton while petting a dog skeleton. The person who filmed the woman said there were others outside the cemetery who looked confused as they watched the woman.     Cars also slowed to watch the woman who was joyfully dancing with a model human skeleton and playing with the dog, Hull Live reports.   A startled witness who took the snaps from a passenger seat said: "Literally, she was stood at the cemetery on Spring Bank West opposite the turn off for Hymers school. The Chief Medical Officer of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Umuahia, Abia State, Dr Udo Orji Nnorom, has been reported dead. Dr Nnorom, a native of Nde Owuu in Arochukwu, Abia, reportedly died in the early hours of Sunday, September 12, after a brief illness.     People who knew the doctor have gone on Facebook to express shock at his death.

The police in Imo state has killed a commander in the IPOB security outfit, Eastern Security Network, and two others during a gunbattle in Orlu local government area of Imo state. No fewer than two persons have been confirmed dead after a building belonging to the Holy Ghost Church in Abeda Pave Community, Chachanji Ward in Takum Local Council in Taraba state collapsed during an ongoing church service on Saturday, September 11.     According to reports, the building collapsed following a heavy downpour that lasted several hours. The two victims were male and female while several other members of the church sustained varying degree of injuries. Confirming the report, the council chairman, Shiban Tikari, said even though he was aware of the incident, he was yet to visit the area. He, however, confirmed that two persons lost their lives in the mishap.
