Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state has vowed to enforce the open grazing ban Southern Governors issued in Asaba. In his speech at a civic reception organized in his honour by the Ogoni Ethnic Nationality of Rivers State in Bori, headquarters of Khana Local Government Area on Saturday May 16, Wike stated that their demands must be respected and that the people of the south are “not second class citizens”. A man was found hanged in front of a shop beside a police station in Okota.   The topless man was found on Saturday Morning, May 15.   Prior to his death, the man, said to be a bike rider, was reportedly seen in the area the night before, at about 10pm.     A witness said police arrived at the scene at about 8:00am today after the man was found hanged, but left without moving the corpse. Residents and shop owners in the area are asking that the corpse of the man be removed soon.   Locals who saw the man's corpse are said to have expressed suspicion that there might be foul play involved in his death. Belgian midfielder, Youri Tielemans’ thunderbolt strike in the 63rd minutes sealed the win for Leicester City at Wembley on Saturday night, May 15.     Former Leicester full-back, Ben Chilwell saw a last-gasp effort for Chelsea ruled out for offside after a video assistant referee review.  After the match, the Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, presented the trophy to Leicester captain Kasper Schmeichel following their win.     Iheanacho and Ndidi are the latest Nigerian footballers to win the FA CUP after John Mikel Obi, Kanu Nwankwo, Victor Moses, John Utaka, Daniel Amokachi, and Celestine Babayaro.  

The Kaduna state police command has arrested five suspected rail-trail vandals at Dalle Village of Jema'a LGA of Kaduna state. and recovered two trucks loaded with locomotive railway sleepers. A statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, ASP Muhammed Jalige, says the suspects were arrested on May 13 following a tipoff. He said the suspects are currently undergoing interrogation and effort is being intensified with a view to identifying all people involved in the destruction of critical national infrastructure.  more photos of the trail truck below  

A  30-year-old woman from Marange, Manicaland Province has said that she was dumped by her husband for refusing to sell one of their triplets while in South Africa last year. Narrating her ordeal, Olinda Maposa disclosed that her husband was not pleased after she gave birth to triplets.  Maposa said after she shot down her husband, Obey Mucheki's proposal of selling one of the triplets because they are all girls, he gave her five days to vacate their home, threatening to kill her or her babies.    She said;    “I gave birth to my three children that are Rukudzo, Rujeko and Runako, but my husband, Obey Mucheki, proposed to sell one girl in protest that all the children are girls.
