US rapper, Boosie Badass took to Twitter to complain that almost every woman is now looking the same because of plastic surgery. He asked women to stop changing themselves so much to the point they are unrecognizable. He also asked men to motivate their women so they don't feel the need to change themselves. Some of the victims of the recent herdsmen attacks in communities in Gwer West Local Government Area of Benue State, have been buried in a mass grave.  It will be recalled that no fewer than 19 persons were killed when suspected Fulani herdsmen on Monday, attacked Tse Amgbem, Udam near Aondoana, and Agbanu Seghev/Ukuse, all in Gwer West.  The victims were buried on Thursday, May 6, by the Chairman of Gwer-West LG Council, Hon. Mrs Ashi Grace Igbabon as directed by Governor Samuel Ortom.     The batch one mass burial took place at Mbamondu kindred of Vengev community, Udam macro geopolitical zone in Gwer-West, the ancestral home of the victims. The council boss disclosed that arrangement has been put in place for 2 & 3 of the mass burial to enable her bury other slain victims in Saghev, Mbakyondu and others affected communities in the local government.    

  The Ogun Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE) has said an unspecified number of persons were burnt to death in an auto crash on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. Mr Babatunde Akinbiyi, the spokesperson for TRACE, said this at a media briefing in Abeokuta on Friday. He said the accident involved a silver Toyota RAV 4, with registration number, LND 13 GS, a silver Toyota Camry marked, GGE 369 GJ, and a Mazda bus with an unidentified number. Akinbiyi said the accident occurred at 8:20 p.m. on Thursday night.   31-year-old Italian player Michele Marconi has been handed a 10-match ban for racially abusing Super Eagles of Nigeria and Chievo Verona midfielder Joel Obi. The incident took place during Chievo’s Serie B 2-2 draw against the Pisa in December 2020. Chievo made a statement after the match in December, detailing how the Nigeria international was subjected to racial abuse by Marconi.   "[Obi was] the object of an infamous and disgraceful phrase that has nothing to do with the most basic values of sport, ethics and respect," read the statement.   Pisa, meanwhile, claimed the incident was never detected and "distanced itself" from Chievo’s statement, revealing Marconi confirmed to the club he was never involved in such an ignoble act. Rapper, Pop Smoke was taking a shower at an Airbnb in Los Angeles last year when masked men stormed through the curtains of a second-story balcony to kill him, a Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) detective has testified. Pop Smoke was a fast-rising rap star known for his raspy voice and trap-influenced beats when he died at age 20, just weeks away from finishing his debut studio album. Speaking in court on Thursday, May 6, Detective Christian Carrasco said one intruder allegedly pressed a black semiautomatic firearm to the forehead of a woman who was with the entertainer in his bedroom that night while the others rushed into the adjoining bathroom. “Shut the f--k up.   A Ghanaian woman identified as Florence, has been bathed with a susbstance suspected to be acid by her husband.  Details of the incident are still sketchy, however, according to a report posted by Crime Check TV Ghana on Friday, May 7, the woman had moved to her father's house after her husband threw her out. The suspect later went to meet his father-in-law in guise of asking for forgiveness but sneaked into the bathroom where his estranged wife was bathing and poured acid on her.    "You made it clear you don't love her. You throw her out. She moves to her daddy's house. You go to the daddy to beg for forgiveness only to enter into the bathroom where your wife is bathing to pour acid on her.   President Muhammadu Buhari says he approved the removal of Hadiza Usman, the Nigerian Ports Authority’s Managing Director, to investigate the agency’s management. Buhari said her removal followed a recommendation by Rotimi Amaechi, the Minister of Transportation.  Ms Hadiza will face an administrative panel of inquiry to investigate the management of NPA. According to a statement by the president’s media aide, Garba Shehu, late Thursday night in Abuja, said,” The president has also approved that the Managing Director, Hadiza Bala Usman step aside while the investigation is carried out. Mr Mohammed Koko will act in that position. “The panel is to be headed by the Director, Maritime Services of the Ministry while the Deputy Director, Legal of the same ministry will serve as Secretary.   The Game has released a list of his top 10 best rappers alive without including himself.  In the list, the California rapper named Jay-Z as his best rapper alive followed by NAS, Lil Wayne, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and Snoop Dogg.  Canadian rapper, Drake also made the list alongside Andre 3000, J. An attack by unknown gunmen at Orlu Divisional Police Headquarters in Imo state, was repelled by Joint security operatives on Thursday night, May 6.  Eight hoodlums were killed in the gun battle that ensued and it was also learnt that joint security operatives recovered seven vehicles the attackers came in for the operation. Eyewitnesses said the gun battle between the gunmen and the security operatives lasted several hours, as the military sent reinforcement from the 34 artillery brigade, Obinze, in Owerri. No security officer was killed in the attack.

  Operatives of the Lagos Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission have arrested two siblings for their alleged involvement in Internet fraud. The suspects, Queen and Rowland Kalu, were arrested on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at the Amikanle, Alagbado area of Lagos State. The EFCC, in a statement on Thursday, said Queen, a graduate of Banking and Finance, confessed to the crime, adding that she was involved in online dating and made money from the crime. She also allegedly disclosed that she helped her brothers, including one Prince Kalu, now at large, to speak to male victims and defraud them of their money. The agency said a Mercedes Benz and mobile devices were recovered from the suspects.

  A 15-year-old student of the Ceder International College, Abuja, Nimota Olatunde, has gone missing while trying to repair her torn school uniform. Punch Metro gathered that the disappearance of the student had caused panic among her family members and friends. Olatunde’s mother, Juliana Olajide, who lives in Jos, said on Thursday that her daughter had not been seen since the past one week after she took permission to fix her torn skirt by the school gate. She said, “It is now eight days since we last saw my 15-year-old daughter, Nimota Olatunde, who is in SS 2 class at Ceder International College, Abuja. “She was last seen in her school on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. “According to the school authorities, she went to sew her torn school skirt just by the school gate. “According to them, she was permitted to go through the primary section gate instead of the main entrance gate because of the way the skirt was torn. “Since then, no one has seen her. Two robbery suspects got quite unlucky as they were lynched by a mob in Yamadawa Quarter in Gwale Local Government Area of Kano State, for allegedly attempting to snatch a car on Wednesday May 5.  The suspects identified as Abdullahi Isma’il, 24, of Sani Mainagge Quarters, in Kano metropolis and Abubakar Hussain, 24, of Kankara LGA, Katsina State, allegedly made their move while residents were breaking their Ramadan fast Wednesday evening. It reportedly drew the attention of some residents who raised an alarm. A man who became an internet sensation when he sprayed insecticide into his mouth has died. The family of I Wayan Merta, who is also known as Ki Galang Pamungkas, have confirmed his death but said it was unrelated to the insecticide stunt. In a video that went viral, the guru from Bali, Indonesia, was seen spraying Baygon insecticide into his mouth. Concerned fans feared news of his death on Sunday, May 2, was the result of digesting the toxic chemicals in the insecticide but Ki Galang's brother, I Nyoman Saputra, dismissed their claims. Saputra told local media outlets: "As his brother, I am dismissing [rumors] that Ki Galang died because of insecticide. He died because of a heart attack.
