Colorado police have released chilling mugshot of the man accused of killing 10 people in a mass shooting at a supermarket in Boulder, Colorado. Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, 21, was arrested following a shootout with police in a King Sooper grocery store on Monday, March 22. The Syrian native is being held on 10 counts of first-degree murder after he allegedly stormed into King Soopers grocery store in Boulder on Monday afternoon, March 22 and began shooting at workers, customers and cops. He allegedly shot ten people including a police officer.  The suspect surrendered at the scene after he was shot in the leg and was hauled off in handcuffs. Russia President, Vladimir Putin received his Covid-19 vaccination  behind close doors on Tuesday according a statement released by the Kremlin.   Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the media late Tuesday night, March 23: "Putin was vaccinated against the coronavirus. (He) feels good. Tomorrow he has a full working day." No video or images of the vaccination process have been made available.  Earlier in the day the Kremlin said Putin's vaccination would not be a public event. Peskov said that the reason the vaccination was not being recorded was because Putin "doesn't like" being vaccinated on camera, before adding, "you will have to take our word for it." An unusual move for a leader who sometimes poses topless and shares photos of himself fishing or hiking. Footballer, Mikel John Obi, has spoken out about how manager Antonio Conte ended his career at Chelsea because he chose to represent Nigeria at the 2016 Olympics. Mikel Obi, who stayed at Chelsea for 11 years after arriving as a teenager in 2005, says he had the opportunity to represent Nigeria at the 2016 Rio Olympics but was warned by Conte who had just arrived at Stamford Bridge in 2016,  that he would not be part of his plans if he decides to represent Nigeria at the Olympics. Chacha Eke Faani has revealed that she's now "restored" in spirit and in body, months after she said she's been diagnosed with bipolar and cleared her husband of the claims she made that he abused her.   Recall that in October 2020, the actress released a troubling video where she said her marriage is over but she's leaving with her "life".   This sparked speculations that there has been a case of domestic violence in her marriage.   However, days later she emerged to put the blame on herself.   The operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has arrested a drug trafficker, Sikiru Owolabi, and intercepted various hard drugs packaged for shipping to the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, Australia, the Maldives and New Zealand in some courier firms in Lagos State. Owolabi was arrested by undercover narcotics agents attached to two international courier companies in Lagos after one kilogramme of cocaine concealed in cream containers and meant for shipping to Dublin was intercepted in one of the courier firms. According to a statement on Tuesday by the agency’s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, another 200grammes of cocaine meant for shipping to London, United Kingdom, were also intercepted in the same courier firm. The agency also announced the interception of 320grammes of heroin concealed in earrings coming from Congo and meant for Australia, and another 390grammes of cocaine concealed in men’s clothing and being shipped to Northern ...

A Nigerian man identified as Ifeanyi Mbah and his two children were killed in a fatal car accident in South Africa.  His wife, Nomabandla Mbah, 33, was the only survivor in the accident. The accident  occurred in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape on Monday night, March 22.  It was gathered that the family had been travelling along the N2, near Bluewater Bay, when their car veered off the road and hit a barrier. Ifeanyi, 42, and their two sons, Uchenna, 6, and Chinedu, one, died at the scene. Nomabandla was taken to a clinic in Motherwell, where she received treatment for a knee injury. Police spokesperson Captain Andre Beetge, who confirmed the incident, said it appeared that the husband had been driving the vehicle when the accident occurred, but it was not known yet what had caused him to lose control and veer off the road.

A search for a missing 86 year-old man suffering from dementia ended in tragedy after he was found dead in a drainage ditch. On Sunday, March 21, Teddy Grady’s body was discovered in a ditch in Hallwood, California, just eight hours after his family reported that he was missing. Teddy was last seen at a guest house attached to his family’s home on Saturday night.  His family reported him missing after waking up around 8am on Sunday, with a Silver Alert – an app used to track missing adults. The search for Teddy began and Yuba County Sheriff’s Office were shown footage from a neighbor’s security camera showing Teddy walking around the area by himself in the early hours of Sunday morning. Police increased their search parameters and used cars, horses and a helicopter to look for him. His dead body was found in the ditch on Sunday evening.  An autopsy is set to be carried out so police can know the cause of his death Fox40 reports.

A former Minority Leader in the Ondo state House of Assembly, Hon Akpoebi Lubi, died in a fatal car crash on Tuesday, March 23.     He was said to have been driving along the Ondo-Akure road when the accident happened. Late Lubi represented Ese-Odo state constituency during the administration of Dr. Olusegun Mimiko and was the only PDP lawmaker elected to the Assembly in 2011.     He was said to have served as the Caretaker Chairman of Ese-Odo local government and was later appointed Special Assistant to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on Niger Delta Affairs. He however resigned the position before end of Akeredolu’s first term.   He was later appointed a Special Adviser to Senator Nicholas Tofowomo on Strategy and Special Interest, a position he held before he died.   May his soul rest in peace, Amen.
