Rosy Meurer has responded after Olakunle Churchill revealed they are married. When actress Tonto Dikeh announced her separation from husband Olakunle Churchill,  actress Rosy Meurer was fingered as the woman who was having an affair with Churchill.  However, Rosy denied it vehemently. She said dating Churchill will be like dating her big brother and she called him her mentor. Well, now that Churchill has revealed that they are indeed married, Rosy has now responded. She shared a video showing animated versions of herself dancing and added hastags aimed at her critics. "Thank God say man no be God. Only God can judge. Mouth is for talking," she wrote.

  Reno Omokri and his wife have welcomed their fourth child, a baby girl who they have named after former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.  Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar shared the happy news as he took to Twitter to congratulate Reno and his wife on the birth of their fourth child. He also revealed the couple named their baby daughter, Ebele, after former President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. In his congratulatory message, Atiku wrote: "I congratulate @renoomokri and his wife on the birth early this morning of their daughter, Ebele, named after former President @GEJonathan."   Twenty suspected internet fraudsters have been arrested by the operatives of the Port Harcourt Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.  The suspects were arrested on Friday, February 12, 2021, at New Owerri, Eminike Estate, Norble Abode, Owerri, Imo State. The suspects are: Onyebuchi Victor,  Isreal Victor,  Emeka Clinton, Stanley Uche,  Onyemachi Stanley,  Ikechukwu Agbalieze, Franklin Ugoegbu, Nze Collins, Nwokoro Santus, and Agocha Johnson. Others are: Oscar Anumata, Emeka Clinton Nkeoga, Ogwu Chukwu Akagha Marvis, Victor Obioha, Charles Onymesi, Awunnaya Victor, Henry Stephni, Jerrard Uwaima, Franklin Uzoma and Obidike Abuchi. At least 20 people were reported missing after a landslide slammed into houses overnight in Indonesia’s East Java province, the country’s disaster management agency said on Monday. At least 14 people were injured in the rain-triggered landslide in Nganjuk district on Sunday evening, said Raditya Jati, spokesman for the National Disaster Management Agency. A search was underway for the missing, he said. Elsewhere in the province, flash floods hit nine villages, inundating homes with water as high as one metre, the agency added. Deadly floods and landslides are common in Indonesia during the rainy season from October to April.

A reporter with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Mrs Chidiebere Onyia, who was abducted by gunmen in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, has regained her freedom.   It was earlier reported that the mother of three was kidnapped by four men in traffic around Woji railway crossing in Port Harcourt around 8pm on Tuesday evening, February 9, on her way home from work.   Spokesperson of the State Police Command, Nnamdi Omoni, who confirmed the latest development in a statement said the nursing mother was released by her abductors in the early hours of Sunday, February 14.    "The Rivers Police Command is pleased to announce the unconditional release of Chidiebere Onyia, a reporter with NTA Port Harcourt, who was kidnapped last week.   The home of one of the attorneys defending former US President Donald Trump in his impeachment trial was vandalized with graffiti. Detective Scott Pezick of the West Whiteland Township Police Department in Chester County said the graffiti was reported around 8 p.m. Friday at attorney Michael van der Veen's residence in West Whiteland Township, Pennsylvania, about 30 miles southwest of Philadelphia. Police said vandals spray-painted the word "TRAITOR" in red on his driveway in suburban Philadelphia.     Van der Veen spent the week in Washington, D.C., defending Trump at his impeachment trial over the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol building. Trump was acquitted by the Senate on Saturday. The High Court of Tanzania has sentenced Mike Nwankwo, a clothing retailer in Abuja, Nigeria, to life in prison after finding him guilty of drug trafficking, TheCitizen reports. However, Judge Mohamed Gwae, who heard the case, acquitted the first accused, Ms Mastura Makongoro, Nwankwo's girlfriend, due to lack of evidence against her. The verdict against Nwankwo and his girlfriend was handed down on Friday where Judge Gwae said the testimony of nine witnesses to the prosecution and 18 exhibits, confirmed the indictment against the Nigerian citizen beyond any reasonable doubt.  The prosecution in the case was led by state advocates from the National Prosecution Service (NPS), Ignas Mwinuka. At the same time, Nwankwo was defended by advocate Diana Solomoni and Mastura who was cleared was defended by advocate Modestus Njau.   The Police operatives attached to the Bariga Division of the Lagos State Police Command on Saturday, February 13 arrested four members of Oodua People's Congress (OPC) for beating and stabbing one Tochukwu Chidi, 35, of No 76 Arobadede Street,Bariga, to death after an argument with them at Temple Street, Bariga, Lagos. A statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, Muyiwa Adejobi, states that the suspects attacked the deceased and inflicted injuries on him. He was rushed to the General Hospital, Bariga for treatment before he was confirmed dead.   Meghan Markle is expecting her second baby with Prince Harry, a spokesperson for the couple has confirmed. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are currently residing in California, are preparing to welcome a brother or sister for their son Archie, who will be two in May, later this year. A spokesperson for Meghan and Harry said: 'We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother.   Nicki Minaj's father, Robert Maraj, was killed on Friday after he was struck in a hit-and-run accident in Long Island, New York, a rep for Minaj has confirmed. Nassau County Police said Maraj was hit by a vehicle in Mineola while on the road between Roslyn Road and Raff Avenue around 6 p.m. local time, according to TMZ, which also reported that witnesses were unable to give authorities a description of the suspect and Maraj was taken to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries. The incident remains under investigation.

  A Chinese lab in Wuhan, investigated by the World Health Organization over the origins of Covid-19 reportedly designed secret cages for breeding bats for virus experiments. The Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) was found to have filed patents for "bat rearing cages" and "artificial breeding" systems in the months before covid-19 first emerged in 2019 December.     The institute located just miles from Covid's ground zero has been subjected to scrutiny since the virus emerged.      The World Health Organisation released a report this week exonerating the lab, saying the lab wasn't responsible for Covid-19 origins, but the US and the UK  have branded the WHO's report a "whitewash" after new revelations about the work of Chinese scientists led by Dr Shi Zhengli, months before the pandemic. Police operatives attached to Surulere Division of the Lagos state police command have arrested one Peter Arinola, at the Empire Area in Surulere, for using an English Pistol to threaten a prostitute while negotiating and harassing her for sex. Muyiwa Adejobi, the spokesperson of the state police command, said the suspect intended to use the pistol to intimidate the lady to agree to his terms and the amount he wanted to pay, but the lady insisted on certain amount of money. He said Peter brought out the pistol and wanted to force the lady to have sex with him.   Manchester United's Anthony Martial was racially abused on social media for the second time this season after Manchester United's 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion on Sunday , February 14. Martial played 66 minutes before being replaced by Mason Greenwood as United came back to level against West Brom after going behind inside the first two minutes.
