  The Oyo State Police Command has arrested a 56-year-old man, Remi Oladiti, who claims to be a lawyer, for allegedly drugging, raping and impregnating a 14-year old girl in Bodija area of Ibadan. The State Commissioner of Police, Mrs Ngozi Onadeko, who disclosed this while briefing newsmen on Thursday, said the victim was sent on an errand when Oladiti accosted her and gave her a soft drink laced with sedative. The girl was said to have become unconscious after taking the soft drink and she woke up to find herself naked on the man’s bed. The police boss said medical examination confirmed that the girl is 29 weeks pregnant.  "Upon complaint received by the victim’s parents, it was gathered that sometime in May 2020, one ( name witheld)!   A 24-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a Filipina model who was found dead in River Severn in Worcester. Charles Byrne, 24, was charged with murder and attempted murder after the body of the woman, named locally as Christina Rowe, was found in Worcester,  West Mercia police said on Thursday night.       The model was last seen on Monday receiving a parcel from a postman and is said to have been 'really chipper and happy'.   Friends and members of the Nkpor community are mourning the businessmen shot dead by unknown gunmen in Anambra state. Recall that Izuchukwu Idemili, 32; Chidi Oforma, 31; and Bongo Muoghalu, 45, died after two unidentified gunmen stormed the Civic center Eke Nkpor in Idemili local government area of Anambra state and opened fire at persons gathered at the center on February 10.     "Nkpor obodo dike.   Katherine Creag, a popular television news anchor with NBC New York, has died. She was 47. Ms. Creag, who was among the presenters on NBC’s “New York Today” morning show, was said to have died unexpectedly on Wednesday evening January 10.   A man from North Carolina, USA, David Kyle Reeves, 27 has been charged with making threats to kill US leader Joe Biden. According to a federal criminal complaint unsealed in court Thursday, February 11, David Kyle Reeves, was arrested February 5 for knowingly and willfully making threats to take the life of and inflict bodily harm upon the U.S. President.   The Prosecutors allege that between January 28 and February 1, Reeves contacted the White House switchboard multiple times by phone and made threats against Biden and others. Criminal charges have been dropped against two police officers seen on video shoving a 75-year-old protester during the George Floyd protests to the ground in Buffalo, New York last spring.  Officers Aaron Torgalski and Robert McCabe faced felony assault charges over the June 4 incident at Niagara Square. In the video, protester Martin Gugino is seen walking in the direction of the officers before they are seen pushing him. Gugino fell flat onto his back and bumped the back of his head on the concrete, the video shows. Erie County D.A. John J. Flynn announced on Thursday February 11, that a Grand Jury decided not to hand up an indictment in the case against Buffalo PD officers Aaron Torgalski and Robert McCabe.
