32-year-old Turkish-born German midfielder, Mesut Ozil has reignited his heated rivalry with show host Piers Morgan following his move from Arsenal to Fenerbahce. Morgan who been one of Ozil's biggest critics during the latter days of his eight-year spell in north London, has continously described him as  'massively overpaid, massively under-performing & 'having a shockingly overinflated sense of his own importance.' Despite his move to Fenerbahce, Ozil hasn't forgotten about the Good Morning Britain co-presenter and took a swipe at him on Twitter. The former Germany international tweeted a picture of himself with 'Poop on Piers' toilet paper, saying he took it from London to Istanbul to 'remind him of Morgan.' A military base and a police check-point in Borno State were reportedly attacked by Boko Haram insurgents on Sunday January 31, same day the newly appointed service chiefs arrived Maiduguri on an operational visit.  Daily Trust reported that two policemen and one member of Civilian Joint Task Force were killed during the attack which occurred at the checkpoint along Maiduguri / Gubio highway by 12:30pm on Sunday.  A security source said the insurgents burnt one utility vehicle and made away with another after they displaced the security personnel stationed at the joint checkpoint.   The source said;    “The incident occurred at outskirts of Magumeri and Chabol, we have reported that two police officers and a member of cjtf have lost their lives in the ambushed."   Top CJTF member, Bakura Aliyu who also confirmed the incident said the insurgents stationed three gun trucks and then fired at the military base lo...

The Simpsons writer, Marc Wilmore has died at the age of 57, after he contracted coronavirus while battling other health issues. His brother Larry confirmed the tragic news on social media in an emotional statement. Larry wrote: "My sweet sweet brother, Marc Edward Wilmore, passed away last night while battling Covid and other conditions that have had him in pain for many years. "My brother was the kindest, gentlest, funniest, lion of an angel I've ever known. I love you little brother." Marc began as a television writer in 1992 on In Living Color, before joining The Tonight Show with Jay Leno between 1995 and 1998. He first joined iconic cartoon sitcom The Simpsons during its 13th season which aired throughout 2001 and 2002.
