Sweden’s first-ever female prime minister, Magdalena Andersson has dramatically resigned less than 12 hours after being installed over suffering a budget defeat in parliament and then losing her coalition partner in a two-party minority government.   Ms. Andersson said a decision by the Green Party to quit the two-party coalition had forced her to resign but added that she had told the parliamentary speaker she hoped to be appointed prime minister again as the head of a single-party government.   The Green Party said it would leave the government after the coalition’s budget bill was rejected by parliament.   “For me, it is about respect, but I also do not want to lead a government where there may be grounds to question its legitimacy,” Ms Andersson told a news conference.   She added: “A coalition government should resign if a party chooses to leave the government. The manhunt for a former Maryland police officer accused of abducting his two daughters ended Thursday, Nov. 18, with him, a woman and two children fatally shot in an apparent murder-suicide, police said.   Former Baltimore County police officers Robert Vicosa, 41, suspended Baltimore County police Sgt. Tia Bynum, 35, and two young children believed to be Vicosa's daughters were found with gunshot wounds in an SUV in Smithsburg, Maryland, after a police pursuit, Maryland State Police confirmed late Thursday, Nov. 18.     Vicosa was accused of abducting his daughters at gunpoint Monday, Nov 15, from the home of his estranged wife in Pennsylvania's Windsor Township, as well as assaulting the wife and stealing her vehicle, police in that state had said.   About 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Pennsylvania State Police attempted to stop a Ford Edge that matched the description of a vehicle used in multiple crimes, but the driver continued across the Maryland st...

Zainab Aliyu Kila, the Nigerian lady framed by a drug cartel while traveling for lesser Hajj in Saudi Arabia in 2018, has joined the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA.   Recall that on December 26, 2018, Miss Aliyu, then a student at Maitama Sule University, Kano, was arrested by Saudi authorities for allegedly traveling with a luggage containing unlawful substances believed to be tramadol. Zainab had traveled through the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, MAKIA, for Lesser Hajj with her mother, Maryam, and sister, Hajara. American rapper,  Young Dolph has been shot and killed at the age of 36.    Three independent law enforcement sources confirmed to FOX13 and TMZ that rapper Young Dolph was shot and killed in Memphis Wednesday afternoon, November 17.    Maurice Hill, the owner of the shop where the shooting happened, Makeda’s Butter Cookies, told FOX13 his employees said Young Dolph, 36, walked into the store to buy cookies. Someone then drove up and then shot and killed him around 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the bakery in South Memphis.   Young Dolph’s Lamborghini sat in the parking lot of the bakery when FOX13 crews arrived.   The rapper has been targeted in the past. Cameroon football star, Samuel Eto’o has officially filed his candidacy for the presidency of the country’s football federation, promising he would be the “next president despite the cheating”. On Wednesday, November 17, Eto’o, a four-time African footballer of the year, was accompanied by a crowd of supporters as he submitted his bid at the Cameroonian federation’s headquarters in Yaounde. “I urge the opposite camp to be careful because we have accepted lots of things,” Eto’o told reporters. More than 125 fans have sued rapper Travis Scott for $750 million over the deadly Astroworld Festival incident that left 10 dead and hundreds injured earlier this month.   The lawsuit, filed by Houston Attorney Tony Buzbee,  who had previously been representing at least 35 victims from the concert - accuses Scott and festival organizers of 'gross negligence' for the chaos at Astroworld on November 5.     The suit also names Live Nation, Epic Records Drake, and Apple as defendants for their involvement in organizing the festival, and Buzbee plans to file another lawsuit with 100 more plaintiffs in the coming days.      'No amount of money will ever make these Plaintiffs whole; no amount of money can restore human life,' Buzbee said in the lawsuit.    'But, the damages sought in this case attempts to fix, help, or make up for the harms and losses suffered by these Plaintiffs -- nothing m...

  The bomber killed in the terrorist attack outside the Women’s Hospital in Liverpool on Sunday, Nov. 14, has been named by Counter Terrorism Police North West as 32-year-old Emad Al Swealmeen. Al Swealmeen was killed after a homemade device went off in the backseat of a taxi.     The taxi driver who has been named as David Perry noticed the device and locked the cab with Al Swealmeen inside. The device then exploded, killing Al Swealmeen and injuring Perry, who had to be taken to hospital, but has since been discharged.     According to the Daily Mail, Al Swealmeen goes by the name Enzo Almeni and was born in Syria but raised in Iraq. A Russian cannibal killer who ate his victims' flesh and washed it down with vodka has been jailed for life. Vladimir Yadne, 32, stabbed three people to death before consuming their raw flesh in the remote village of Gaz-Sale.   He found a man and a woman, who were friends, embracing when he got back from buying alcohol, a court heard.   This led to a dispute between Yadne and the pair, which led him to kill the man, 51, and woman, 59 on March 6 this year.   "He then decided to taste the flesh of recently killed people," said Inna Nosova, head of the criminal justice department in Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Region.   Yadne (left)   "He came in with alcohol on him, and drank it as he was eating the meat."   The nature of the killer's relationship with the man and the woman has not been revealed, along with the weapon used to kill his victims.   Reports say Yadne did not cook the flesh of his victims and instead decided to ea...

“Beautiful Girls” singer Sean Kingston reportedly punched a Los Angeles music video director before pulling a gun on him, according to TMZ. The producer who goes by the name GXDLIKE, says that he has been living with Kingston for around three months while working on projects together. He said the assault happened at around 2:00 am on November 5, when the Jamaican singer called him downstairs into the basement to film something. GXDLIKE told the artist that his phone died and a frustrated Kingston began punching him before dragging him down the hallway and pointing a gun at him.   The director alleges that Kingston left him with several bruises and cuts on his face and told him to pack his stuff and get out. American R&B singer, Chico DeBarge has been arrested on charges of drug possession.  TMZ reported that on November 6, cops were told that a man was causing a disturbance inside a motorhome. When they got there, they made contact with Chico and noticed his RV had an expired registration of over 6 months.   The singer's motorhome which he was living was impounded and officers allegedly found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside the ride.   Chico was then arrested and booked for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was later released from custody on a promise to appear citation.   The singer admittedly struggled with addiction for years, and he's been arrested 3 other times, in 2007, late 2019 and early 2021 for drug possession.

Barcelona have confirmed an “agreement in principle” for the return of Dani Alves, who will become the first signing since Xavi Hernandez was appointed as the new first-team head coach. It was recently revealed that Barcelona would be meeting with Alves to discuss his return to the club. Laura Lentz, wife of disgraced former Hillsong pastor Carl Lentz has said that she is suffering from PTSD and depression.  Her 43-year-old husband Carl was fired from the evangelical megachurch last November. At the time, the celebrity pastor who baptized Justin Bieber admitted he had been unfaithful to Laura, to whom he has been married since 2003. Laura who also worked at Hillsong, was similarly fired from the megachurch.
