Jason Derulo took to Instagram to share the exciting news that he and girlfriend Jena Frumes are expecting a baby. The Swalla singer, 31, shared a loved-up video of himself and model girlfriend Jena, with the singer kissing Jena's blossoming baby bump. At the end, Jason revealed the words COMING SOON written in the sand, along with their footprints.     Jason captioned the video: "Couldn’t be more excited for this new chapter in our life @jenafrumes". Celebrities and fans flocked to Instagram to congratulate the couple following the announcement.

Christians on social media are expressing their displeasure at this racy Nun outfit fashion entrepreneur, Toyin Lawani, rocked to a movie premiere on Sunday, March 28.     The movie, the Prophetess by Toyin Abraham, had a theme for the guests to dress like church workers. Toyin chose to dress like a Nun. Her outfit however had high slits that went up to her privates. Some Christians felt offended by it and expressed their displeasure.     The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has directed its members to embark on nationwide strike beginning from Thursday, April 1, 2021. The directive was contained in a communique  issued at the end of its National Executive Council (NEC) meeting attended by over 50 chapters of NARD. The communique was signed by NARD‘s President, Dr. Uyilawa Okhuaihesuyi; Secretary-General, Dr. Jerry Isogun and Publicity/Social Secretary, Dr. Dotun Osikoya. According to the communique, the NEC unanimously agreed that NARD should proceed on a total and indefinite strike on April 1, 2021, by 8am if the government failed to meet its demand. One one the demands, according to the doctors, was immediate payment of all salaries owed to all house officers, including March salaries (regardless of quota system) before the end of business on March 31, 2021.   The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has confirmed the death of a speeding driver and a female pedestrian in a lone accident at Obiuno Road in Igbo Ukwu community in Anambra. Igbo Ukwu is in  Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra state. A popular Kenyan musician, Philip Ptaroba Okoyo, who is better known by his stage name Japesa, has shocked his fans after he purchased a coffin in anticipation of his funeral. Taking to his Instagram page on Saturday, March 27,  the flamboyant rap artiste shared a photo of himself posing with the casket and said that he didn’t want his fans to struggle with funeral expenses. "Bought myself a coffin, just in case nikufe msisumbuliwe na till number,” he wrote. His fans reacted to the post with a section of them saying that he should mind his utterances as words are powerful while others noted that the coffin is cheap.     

A member of the Delta State Anti-Cult Volunteer Corps has been arrested for allegedly raping a 19-year-old girl in Warri.  Civil rights activist, Comr. Israel Joe, who confirmed the incident in a statement on Friday, March 26, said that the suspect identified simply as Efe, raped the teenager inside an uncompleted building while his three friends watched.                                                      The activist with the rape victim  Joe wrote; "Yesterday Thursday 25th March, at about 9:15pm, one Efe who is a member of the Delta State Anti-Cult in Warri has allegedly rape a 19 years old girl. ‘Bad Girls Club’ cast member, Deshayla Harris has been confirmed as one of the victims killed in Virginia Beach Shootings over the weekend.  Deshayla, 29, of Norfolk, who appeared on season 17 of the reality TV show "Bad Girls Club," died in one of the three separate shootings that occurred in the Virginia Beach resort area on Friday, March 26. According to a press release from the Virginia Beach police department, Harris was a bystander at the second shooting incident, which occurred along 19th Street. She is reported to have died at the scene.  A second victim was identified as Donovon Lynch, 25, of Virginia Beach. She was killed in the third shooting of the night during a confrontation with an uniformed Virginia Beach police officer, according to WAVY. Eight other people were wounded during the evening’s gunfire, the report said. Authorities are working to determine if the three shootings on Friday night were related and if there are any additional suspects....

Two suspected suicide bombers blew themselves up outside a Catholic church in the Indonesian city of Makassar on Sunday, March 28, wounding about 20 people on the first day of the Easter Holy Week. National police spokesman Inspector General Argo Yuwono said at a press conference in Jakarta that the worshippers suffered from wounds around their necks, chests and legs. Some had blisters on their hands and feet.  The explosion occurred when the congregation had been inside the church on the island of Sulawesi, South Sulawesi police spokesman E Zulpan told Reuters.  The two suspected suicide bombers are confirmed dead, said Coodinating Minister for Polical, Legal and Security Affairs, Mahfud MD.      The minister said he has ordered the police and military to increase security in places of worship throughout Indonesia.  South Sulawesi police chief Merdisyam said that five church staff members and four worshippers are am...

Three young were hacked to death in a cult-related fight during a birthday party at Odoba Otukpa in Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue State.  It was gathered that a quarrel broke out during the birthday party organized by one of the youths in Odoba community on Saturday night, March 27.  According to an eyewitness, a young man from Obu Otukpa, a neighbouring community was hacked to death during the fight. The death of the young man was said to have caused a reprisal from the man’s community which led to the death of two others from Odoba. One of the Odoba youths killed was preparing to bury his father on Thursday this week. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) says it has arrested a 70-year-old suspected drug trafficker, who allegedly supplied illicit substances to Boko Haram insurgents and bandits. The agency’s spokesman Femi Babafemi disclosed this in a statement made available to reporters on Saturday in Abuja. Mr Babafemi said the suspect, who hailed from Dallawa town, Agadez, Niger Republic, was arrested on Thursday with 10 pallets of skunk in Jebba, Niger. According to him, he had brought into Nigeria hides and skin from the Niger Republic to sell in Lagos. During interrogation, the suspect claimed he sold his goods for N300,000 in Lagos and used the fund to buy 10 pallets of skunk at N25,000 each. “He was on his way back to the Niger Republic through the North-West where he sells drugs to bandits when he was intercepted in Jebba,” he said. Boko Haram terrorists have blown up a power tower in Maiduguri, plunging the capital city into darkness again barely three days after electricity was restored.  The terrorists had struck power installations thrice to keep the city in the dark in January. Channels Television reported that it took power authorities almost two months to repair the damage inflicted in January as the insurgents laid land mines, which injured officials of the Transmission Company of Nigeria when repairs commenced. However after electricity was restored on Wednesday March 24, the insurgents launched another attack on a power tower in the city.
