  A newly wedded man killed himself after key signs of worsening mental health were missed during the coronavirus lockdown, an inquest heard.  Craig Murray, 41, previously had face-to-face meetings with experts after suffering a severe bout of paranoia which caused him to fear his friends were "out to kill him" and that his home had been "hacked". The father-of-one took three overdoses in five months and confessed to thoughts of taking his own life but when strict Covid restrictions began in March, he could speak to medics only over the phone. The experts failed to spot signs of his deteriorating condition and wrongly classed him as an "amber zone" patient when he should have been graded in the maximum risk "red zone" category, the inquest heard.   Keshia Knight Pulliam and actor Brad James are engaged. The couple have been dating for the past year after they met on the set of the movie  Pride and Prejudice: Atlanta, People reports. James popped the question in early December, but they kept it private until they simultaneously posted the announcement on their Instagram pages on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020. "I said Yes!!," Pulliam wrote on Instagram, adding, "I LOVE YOU @mrbradjames !!!! This is my favorite photo from our magical engagement dinner. My desire is a lifetime and beyond filled with love & family. My heart is so filled with joy!! So excited to continue to choose each other & our family every day."     James, a star on Tyler Perry’s For Better or Worse, posted the same photo and wrote: Boats and ships are safe in harbor, but that's not why they're built... Hitting the waters wit my @keshiaknightpulliam #engaged."  

  Nigerian footballer, Aaron Samuel has welcomed a son with his wife, Chinwe.  The 26-year-old who plays as a striker for China League club Changchun Yatai took to Instagram to announce the birth of his son who they have named Brian.  Sharing cute photos of his bundle of joy, he wrote: 'Here comes Brian my prince.'    

  The conviction and seven years jail term handed over to former spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party, Olisa Metuh, after he was found guilty of money laundering charges, has been set aside by the Court of Appeal.  Proceedings of the Federal High Court leading to the conviction of Metuh and his company, Destra Investment Limited, was set aside by a three-man panel led by Justice Stephen Adah on grounds of being tainted with bias.  Delivering the lead judgement, Justice Adah who ordered a fresh trial held that the utterances of the trial judge, Justice Okon Abang in the course of the trial established that he was biased against the convicts. The case file is now to be sent back to the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court for reassignment to another judge other than Justice Abang.
