  According to a report emanating from Russia, a 17 year old girl known as Yelizaveta Vladimirovna, was born from a years-long affair between Russian president, Vladimir Putin and his housekeeper, Svetlana Krivonogikh. According to investigative Russian news site Proekt, Putin, who was married at the time and Svetlana began their affair while she was a cleaner in the late 90s. As at that time Putin was the head of Russia's Secret service, the FSB.     The report also adds that the pair are said to have split up shortly after daughter Yelizaveta was born in 2003. The report goes on to say that Yelizaveta has no father listed on her birth certificate but bears a "striking resemblance" to the 68-year-old Russian strongman who has two other daughters with his ex-wife Lyudmila Shkrebneva.   A 46-year-old Nigerian national has been arrested by Azad Maidan unit of the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of Mumbai police for allegedly possessing 350 gram of mephedrone worth Rs 1.40 crore ($189,477.26) The accused Godwin Egviebo, a cloth merchant resident in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, was arrested on Wednesday, November 25, when he came to Colaba to allegedly peddle drugs. “Our informer had given us a tip about Egviebo. We laid a trap near Freni Villa, Henari Road in Colaba on November 25 and arrested him.   A Peregrine falcon which ''flew into Nigeria from Finland'' has reportedly been killed in Ofagbe town, Delta state.  Twitter user @wakajugbe who shared photos of the dead bird, said it had a tag which read " Museum 200L Helsinki Finland".  The tweet read;    This peregrine falcon was killed in a town called Ofagbe in Delta State.   The Kaduna State Police Command has arrested a couple for stealing a three-day-old baby.     A statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, ASP Mohammed Jalige, said the state police command received a complaint of the missing baby on November 9.   Preston defender, Darnell Fisher has been hit with a three-match suspension by the FA after being charged with violent conduct for grabbing the genitals of Sheffield Wednesday player, Callum Paterson during their Championship game.  Fisher was caught on camera grabbing Paterson's genitalia on two occasions in quick succession during Preston's win last weekend - with the footage then quickly spreading across social media.  Both incidents took place during the 62nd minute and it was missed by referee David Webb and his assistants but caught on camera during Preston’s 1-0 win.     Manchester United are reportedly being held to ransom for millions of pounds by cyberhackers who still have control of the club's computer systems. Manchester United's network has allegedly been infected by a computer virus, and the club face having sensitive information leaked unless they pay a ransom. AP is reporting that Manchester United staff members still have no access to email, and other functions are also unavailable. United remain confident, however, that there has been no breach of fan or customer data. It is not known who the criminals are, or exactly how much money is being demanded.     Justice Adie A. Onyebueke of the Cross River State High Court, Akamkpa, on Friday, sentenced Augustine Effiong Bassey to five years in prison. Bassey was found culpable of stealing N27 million belonging to a microfinance bank where he was a branch manager. He was prosecuted by the Enugu Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on a one-count charge of stealing. According to EFCC, sometime between 2010 and 2012 at Uyanga, Cross River State, Bassey stole the N27,300,000 being property of Ekondo Microfinance Bank Limited. He did this by personally carting away the sum from the bank’s vault and gave to his fronts for execution of non-existent contracts for the bank. The disgraced banker was arrested in July 2016 by the EFCC upon intelligence. His offence was contrary to Section 390 of the Criminal Code law, CAP C16 (VOL 3) of the Laws of Cross River State of Nigeria, 2004 and punishable under Section 390(9) of the same law.     Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, a top nuclear scientist in Iran has been murdered, state media reported. Fakhrizadeh was shot on Friday as he journeyed in a vehicle near Tehran, the state capital. He was badly injured, doctors could not save him in the hospital. The deceased was head of the Islamic Republic’s military nuclear program before it was disbanded in the early 2000s. The Iran Defence Ministry confirmed Fakhrizadeh’s passing in a statement. “Unfortunately, the medical team did not succeed in reviving him, and a few minutes ago, this manager and scientist achieved the high status of martyrdom after years of effort and struggle,” it read.

  Football legend, Diego Armando Maradona has been laid to rest after thousands of fans lined the streets of Buenos Aires to pay their respects as his coffin was driven to the cemetery on Thursday, November 26th.     The Argentina icon and 1986 World Cup winner was buried at the Jardin Bella Vista cemetery, in Buenos Aires province, where his parents were also buried. The private ceremony was attended by family and close friends.     The former Barcelona and Napoli star died of a heart attack aged 60 on Wednesday November 25, just two weeks after being discharged from hospital for a bleed on his brain.   A "ghostly" figure has terrified a pair of urban explorers who took photos inside an abandoned mental health hospital. Jamie Osborne and Michael Cosgrove, both 20, went to Rosslynlee Hospital, an abandoned hospital near Roslin in Midlothian, Scotland, to explore. Rooms inside the eerie derelict mental health facility had remained untouched for over a decade when it closed its doors. But the pair chose to visit the hospital and take pictures.   The U.K. government said Friday, Nov 27, that it plans to create a Digital Markets Unit (DMU) to enforce "a new code to govern the behavior of platforms that currently dominate the market, such as Google and Facebook." The aim is to protect smaller competitors and give consumers more control over personal data. Under the new code, some of the world’s biggest tech companies may have to be more transparent about the services they provide and how they use consumers’ data. They may also be forced to give consumers a choice over whether to receive personalized advertising, and they won’t be able to place restrictions on customers that make it difficult for them to use rival platforms.  The DMU, which will be part of the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), will start work in April 2021.
