  Kourtney Kardashian has been slammed for posting a conspiracy theory claiming that face masks meant to curb the spread of COVID-19 can cause cancer. She shared a post on her Instagram stories claiming that blue surgical face masks are "made of PTFE, a carcinogen made from synthetic fluoride." The post continues: "According to Cancer.Org it increases the risk of liver, testicle, pancreas, kidney & breast tumors + ulcerative colitis, thyroid disease, preeclampsia and high cholesterol.   Olivia Idibia, the second daughter Tuface Idibia has with wife Annie Idibia, has undergone a successful surgery in Dubai. Annie made this revelation via her Instagram Stories. She said she hasn't slept in 48 hours due to the surgery but her 6-year-old daughter has been "brave" and "strong" and the surgery was a success.     In February this year, Annie revealed Olivia is a "brave fighter" and has been through a lot the past three years.  At the time, she shared a video of Olivia with a bandage on her leg and called her "10 boys in 1 girl". She added that "she's fought for the last five months" yet her battles haven't taken the smile off her face.

  Sarah McBride has won a seat in the Delaware state Senate, making history by becoming the first openly transgender state senator in the United States. McBride, 30, will also be the nation's highest-ranking openly transgender elected official. She defeated her Republican opponent, Steven Washington, 73% to 27%, with all precincts reporting. McBride tweeted after her win on Tuesday night: "I hope tonight shows an LGBTQ kid that our democracy is big enough for them, too."     The Human Rights Campaign, for which McBride is a spokesperson, took to Twitter to congratulate her.   "We're so proud of you for this historic win," the group wrote.     This is not the first time McBride has made history.   She interned with President Barack Obama’s administration in 2012, becoming the first openly transgender person to work at the White House.

  Actor Faraaz Khan, known for starring in movies such as "Fareb" and "Mehndi" in the 1990s, has passed away. He passed away today in Bengaluru. He was 46.  The news of his demise was shared by actor-filmmaker Pooja Bhatt on social media. "With a heavy heart I break the news that #FaraazKhan has left us for what I believe, is a better place. Gratitude to all for your help & good wishes when he needed it most. "Please keep his family in your thoughts & prayers. The void he has left behind will be impossible to fill," Bhatt said.  Khan, son of late Bollywood actor Yusuf Khan, was admitted to Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru last month after suffering multiple seizures. His family members, Farhad Abousher and Ahmed Shamoon, had started a fundraising campaign to gather funds for his treatment.

    The Bengaluru City Police in India has said that it has arrested one Sunny Innocent, a Nigerian and nine others for drug trafficking. The Bengaluru Police said that the suspected peddlers who purchase drugs through the internet platform darknet and pay using bitcoin were arrested after officials busted their drug racket. The police said Sunny and the others accused receive their consignment via the postal department, then proceed to sell in bars, schools, colleges, pubs and rave parties. According to the Official, N45.97m worth of drugs such as 660 Lysergic acid, diethylamide (LSD) papers, 386 methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) tablets, 12 grams of MDMA crystals and 10 grams of cocaine powder were seized from the suspects.

  A Nigerian, Ms. Esther Agbaje, has been elected into the Minnesota House of Representatives in Tuesday’s U.S. general elections. She will represent District 59B in the 134-member House on the platform of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party (DFL), an affiliate of the U.S. Democratic Party. Esther, 35, won by a landslide, polling 17,396 votes or 74.7 percent of the total ballots cast. Her closest rival, Alan Shilepsky of the Republican Party, secured 4,128 votes, representing 17.7 percent of the total. Elections to the lower chamber of the state legislature hold every two years, and there are no term limits for the lawmakers. The daughter of Nigerian immigrants, Agbaje was born in St. Paul, the state capital of Minnesota.

  Former NBA All-Star,  "Fast" Eddie Johnson, who was hit with a lifetime ban from the NBA for drug use and later was sent to prison for sexual assault of a child, has died while serving a life sentence.  The 65-year-old passed away on October 26th. His death was confirmed on Tuesday, November 3rd by Rocker-Cusack Mortuary in Leesburg, Florida. Johnson, who was a third-round pick from Auburn by the Hawks in the 1977 NBA draft, became an immediate contributor and then starter for the Hawks. Johnson earned the nickname “Fast Eddie” for his explosive first step and averaged 15.1 points in 10 NBA seasons. He started in the 1980 and 1981 All-Star Games. In 1987, he received a lifetime suspension from the NBA for his cocaine use.   Nigerian-American, Nnamdi O. Chukwuocha has won a state seat in the Delaware House of Representatives. Chukwuocha first won the seat in 2018 unopposed and has now won reelection to the Delaware legislative seat today, November 4.                         Chukwuocha was born November 16, 1970 and is an American politician and poet. He is a Democratic member of the Delaware House of Representatives, representing District. He is also the current Poet Laureate of Delaware, along with his twin brother, Al Mills.

  Joe Biden has increased his chances of obtaining a US election victory after Wisconsin state's electoral board leader announced the state has completed its election count with Biden leading. Wisconsin’s electoral commission administrator Meagan Wolfe announced on Wednesday that all the counties in her state had their ballots totaled, with current results putting Biden 20,697 votes ahead of Donald Trump in the Midwestern key battleground state.  But in a new update, she has now announced that a single township of 300 voters had yet to report its results, but was in the process of counting them.   Wolfe added that her state’s total included all mail-in votes, and that accurate and up-to-date totals had been posted on individual counties websites.   President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign has filed suit in Michigan’s Court of Claims seeking a halt of ballot counting in Michigan "until meaningful access has been granted" to observe the ballot counting process, but Democratic officials in Michigan are countering the claims. "We also demand to review those ballots which are opened and counted while we did not have meaningful access," the campaign said in a statement.  The campaign said it had been denied access to "numerous counting locations" to observe the process "as guaranteed by Michigan law."  "As votes in Michigan continue to be counted, the presidential race in the state remains extremely tight as we always knew it would be," said Bill Stepien, campaign manager for Trump's 2020 campaign.    The campaign's statement did not list the locations where it claimed to have been denied access, and a copy of the lawsuit was not immediately available.    At...
