  Wales and Real Madrid winger, Gareth Bale could be allowed to leave Real Madrid for free this summer after the club rejected a mammoth bid for him last summer, according to former Los Blancos president Ramon Calderon. According to Calderon, a bid of £89million was made for the Wales international by an English club but turned down by Real Madrid. Bale made only 20 appearances last season as tensions between him and coach Zinedine Zidane grew. He refused to be included in Real Madrid’s squad for last month’s Champions League final tournament with the knowledge he would have travelled to be nothing more than a non-playing substitute. Bale, who has two years left on his mouth watering deal was non-challant last season as he was photographed pretending to sleep and using binoculars during matches.   The Surat Crime Branch on Wednesday, September 2, arrested two Nigerian nationals and three others for allegedly hacking the bank account of a builder and transferring Rs 1.71 crore through net banking. The Nigerian accused are identified as Raphael Yinka (38) and Kelvin Ozombe (38), who reside in Mumbai. Others are Nevil Shukla, a resident of Rajkot, Rakesh Malaviya from Katargam, and Imran Kazi from Mumbai. According to the Indian Express, the builder lodged a complaint with the police alleging that Rs 1.71 crore was fraudulently transferred from his bank account on July 26 and July 27, 2020. While investigating, police found out that of the total amount, Rs 18.20 lakh was transferred to two bank accounts belonging to Vikash Solanki from Surat.When police questioned Solanki a couple of days ago, he told them that he saw an advertisement in a local daily which claimed that a person could earn while working from home.   The police in Anambra state have arrested a 25-year-old pregnant woman, Oyinye Chime, for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend, Eleyi Azubuike, to death at his home in Ochiagha street in Nkpor, an area in Anambra state on Wednesday, September 2. The spokesperson of the state police command, Muhammed Haruna, who disclosed this to newsmen, said the police received a report of the alleged murder and immediately visited the scene on Wednesday.   'Preliminary investigation revealed that the deceased allegedly impregnated the suspect and wanted an abortion which she declined and demanded some money for her upkeep which the deceased also refused to oblige. Bandits who struck in Adagbi village in Galkogo district of Shiroro local government area, Niger state reportedly abducted 20 people.  The bandits stormed the village on motorcycles, shooting into the air at about 8am on Thursday September 3.  Though most of the villagers fled, 20 people who are mostly women were abducted. The village came under an attack few hours after an evening of terror in Kagara, the headquarters of Rafi local government area in same Niger state.

  41-year-old Ogbonna Nwankwo pictured above has been arrested by men of the Anambra state police command for allegedly attempting to kill a woman, Bella Joseph, and cutting off her breast on Wednesday, September 2. Disclosing this to newsmen, the spokesperson of the state police command, Haruna Mohammed, said Ogbonna took Bella to Dollar Inn motel in Ihite in Orumba South local government area to lodge.
