  As Nigerians continue to express worry over the nation's increasing debt profile in China and other countries, the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has said that there is nothing bad in borrowing, provided the funds are invested in infrastructure rather than services or consumption.    According to a statement released by his media aide, Segun Adeyemi, the Minister said this on Saturday, August 15, while speaking with journalists after he and Rotimi Amaechi, minister of transportation, inspected the Lagos-Ibadan rail line.   A 42-year-old man identified as Izuchukwu Achusim, drowned at the Lotus Garden hotel in Onitsha, Anambra state at about 8.30pm on Saturday, August 15. Confirming the incident to newsmen, the spokesperson of the state police command, Mohammed Haruna, said Izuchukwu, a resident of number 35 Guesthouse street in Fegge, visited the hotel to swim with his girlfriend. ''However, the victim who was said to be drunk jumped into the deepest part of the pool and got drowned. The hotel manager and other guests pulled the victim out and rushed him to waterside hospital Onitsha for medical attention but he was later certified death by a medical Doctor on duty'' Haruna said in a statement released   Haruna said the police was immediately alerted and the body was photographed and deposited at the hospital mortuary for autopsy.   Robert S. Trump, the younger brother of US President Donald Trump, died on Saturday night, August 15, in Manhattan. He died at the New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center in Lennox Hill. He was 71. His death was announced by The White House but they did not give a cause. Reacting to Robert's death, Donald Trump said in a statement: “He was not just my brother, he was my best friend.     “He will be greatly missed, but we will meet again. His memory will live on in my heart forever. Robert, I love you. Rest in peace."   The Nigerian senate has disclosed that it will be persuading President Buhari to sack the service chiefs over their abysmal performance in containing the insurgency in the north-east.   The Nigerian senate spokesman, Ajibola Basiru who revealed this in an interview with  PUNCH ,  stated that although the resolution is advisory, it represents the views of Nigerians who elected them into office.   He said;    “We, however, still want to persuade the President to consider our resolution.
