  A 17 year old boy, Rocky Marciano Price, has been jailed for life after he brutally murdered a teacher and mum, Ms Lindsay Birkbeck, 47 and buried her body in a cemetery. Rocky Price killed Lindsay Birbeck and transported her naked lifeless body in a waste bin to a shallow grave at a cemetery in Accrington. Rocky Marciano Price, who was unnamed previously due to reporting restrictions, was found guilty of murder on Wednesday before being sentenced today at Preston crown court.     The court agreed that Rocky Price intended to kill or severely injure the mum-of-two in the woods in Accrington, Lancashire, in August 2019.   A Nigerian man who was arrested in Uganda after allegedly being in possession of 320grammes of cocaine valued at sh244.4m (N905m), has been charged and remanded in prison. 37-year-old Madu Chima was arrested alongside one Ibanda Abubakali, 31, a security guard attached to Pinnacle Security Limited.       Appearing before Grade One Magistrate Abert Asiimwe, the duo pleaded not guilty to charges of acquiring prohibited goods, trafficking in a narcotic drug or psychotropic substance, and importing prohibited goods. They also face charges of conspiracy to contravene a provision of the East African Community Customs Management Act and attempting to contravene a provision of the Narcotic Drugs Act.   The Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment has denied complicity in human trafficking, following claims of illegal issuance of Recruiters’ Licence to Private Employment Agencies (PEAs).  According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Labour and Employment Charles Akpan, they've not issued any recruiters’ licence with respect to the placement of Nigerian citizens abroad in breach of the relevant provisions of the Labour Act CAP L1 2004.   Chris Brown and his babymama Ammika Harris seem to be having an issue.  The couple who share an eight-month-old son Aeko reportedly stopped following each other on Instagram late July, and now Ammika has shared a cryptic post which reads: "I'm at the 'don't talk to me unless you wanna wife me' stage."    The post comes after Chris Brown posted a picture of his hand and legs on Instagram and wrote in his caption: "YOU GONE CRY ON MY BUS OR DA BUS !?"        

  Former Chelsea midfielder, John Obi Mikel is set to join Stoke City after reportedly agreeing on a one-year deal with the Championship side.  The ex-Nigerian international, 33,  became a free agent after leaving Turkish side Trabzonspor by mutual consent back in March amid concerns over the Coronavirus pandemic. Mikel is expected to have his medical next week and will sign a one-year deal with the Potters.   The midfielder, who made 249 Premier League appearances for Chelsea in an 11-year spell, won two Premier League titles, three FA Cups, the Champions League, and Europa League. He also had a two-year spell at Chinese Super League side Tianjin Teda, before joining Championship club Middlesbrough for a brief stint.
