  Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted a young lady in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital. It was gathered that the lady was kidnapped on Sunday morning, November 29, on her way to church. Her brother, who confirmed the incident on Twitter said the incident happened beside the Anglican Church along the Rukpakulusi New Layout in Port Harcourt. According to him, his sister was whisked away by four armed men in a Lexus with plate number: CLA43JM  

  Wolves have confirmed that striker Raul Jimenez suffered a fractured skull and has undergone an operation following his head clash with David Luis against Arsenal on Sunday, November 29. The Mexican striker was stretchered off after the head clash with Arsenal defender David Luiz and was given oxygen after the accidental incident.     The clash of heads occurred early in the match and resulted in a lengthy delay of around 10 minutes as paramedics and medical staff saw to both players.     A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 7:27pm today (29 November) to reports of a person injured at Emirates Stadium on Queensland Road, Holloway.   South African man has shared photos from his wedding to his partner in which they wore traditional outfits.  According to @SandileFuba, his wedding ceremony to his "best friend" was held on Friday November 27.     He tweeted;    I married my best friend last Friday.  

  A Nigerian man was arrested for allegedly throwing his 4-year-old step-grandson out of a window from the 3rd floor of an apartment in Danau Kota, Setapak in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday, November 29. Kuala Lumpur Criminal Investigation Department head SAC Nik Ros Azhan Nik Ab Hamid, who confirmed the development on Monday, said the 42-year-old suspect was detained at his house shortly after the incident at about 8am on Sunday.      He said the incident happened when the suspect attempted to rape his 24-year-old stepdaughter who was the boy’s mother. The suspect tried to rape his stepdaughter who was sleeping at that time but was stopped by his wife and three other stepdaughters.     The suspect became furious and went on a rampage, hitting and stomping on his wife and four stepchildren in the house,” he told journalists on Monday.  Nik Ros Azhan said the suspect hit his step-grandson, before flinging him out of the window in the main room....

Superstar singer, Davido has raised an alarm of the Naira losing more value against the Dollar.  The singer who disclosed that the exchange rate from dollar to Naira is now around N500, added that it almost made him cry.  Davido tweeted;   Dollar don reach 500 ... American rapper, Lil Yase has been shot dead in California.  The “Top Dog” rapper whose real name is Mark Antonyyo Alexander was shot and killed over the weekend. He was 26. Officials say he was at the Iron Horse Parkway near the East Dublin BART Station when he was shot early Saturday morning, November 28. Police arrived at the scene around 1 a.m. and said the 26-year-old suffered from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported via ambulance to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley where he later succumbed to his injuries. In a statement, Yase’s Record label, Highway 420 Productions wrote: "We appreciate all the love and support. Yase loved his fans, he worked every day for y'all.   A 52-year-old suspected gunrunner identified as Cyprian Mbe has been arrested by the Cross River State Police Command.  Mbe was arrested in connection with alleged arms supplies and promotion of native wars in some parts of the state and Etung Local Government Area where he was nabbed.  The State Commissioner of Police, Abdulkadir Jimoh who confirmed the suspect's arrest said;     “During a stop and search by the  Etung Divisional Patrol team, one  Cyprian Mbe, a native of Bashia Village in Boki LGA  was intercepted with 299 live cartridges concealed in a black bag. He is a suspected gun runner and promoter of native war “We are still investigating to get more information about his dealings and he would be charged to court immediately we conclude.”

  Lilian Afegbai has responded after followers accused her of sleeping around to be able to afford a Birkin bag. The actress shared a photo of the Birkin bag she bought for her birthday and it didn't go down well with some people. One follower accused her of sleeping around to make the money and Lilian responded, stating that there are other ways to make money besides sex work.   A 27-year-old man identified as Prince Mieyebi was stabbed to death by three armed men in Warri, Delta State, after he reportedly won N15 million in a betting game. It was gathered that the young man was killed while closing a shop belonging to his Aunt at the popular Ogbe-Ijoh market in Warri South Local Government Area of the State on November 27.      According to reports, the assailants fled with the deceased's mobile phone after stabbing him on various parts of his body. He died before he was rushed to a near-by hospital.  An uncle to the deceased, Mr. Thomas Ogisi, who confirmed the murder on Saturday, claimed that the deceased had played the betting game a week before his death with all his predictions going through to the sum of N15 million.   Nollywood actress Joke Lawal has shared some of the narratives about Nollywood she will like to change.  The actress who said this in an interview with Vanguard's Potpourri, noted that many people think that actresses are prostitutes.  Lawal said;    “I would like to change people’s perception of actresses.   David Prowse, the British actor who donned the iconic Darth Vader suit in the original Star Wars trilogy, has died at the age of 85.  "It's with great regret and heart-wrenching sadness for us and million of fans around the world, to announce that our client DAVE PROWSE M.B.E. has passed away at the age of 85," Bowington Management tweeted.   Some members of a robbery gang which invaded Christ Apostolic Church at Gudugbe Alagbon area of Wasimi in Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State, have been arrested by the police.    The suspects who allegedly assaulted worshippers before dispossessing them of their valuables during a vigil, reportedly abducted Mrs. Mojisola Atolagbe, a worshipper before escaping into the forest in the dark.  Ogun police spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi in a statement released on Sunday November 29, said the incident happened around 1:30am on Friday November 27.  The suspects arrested in connection to the attack have been identified as  Abubakar Ibrahim,38, Sulaiman Yusuf, 32, Ismail Yusuf 20, Umar Aliu, 26 and Yinusa Musa.     No fewer than 105 persons have tested positive for HIV in Ogun state during the Covid-19 lockdown. The Commissioner for Health in Ogun State, Dr Tomi Coker, said this at a press briefing to mark the 2020 World AIDS Day with the theme “United to end AIDS in the midst of COVID – 19”. Coker said statistics show that 20,827 people are living with HIV in the state. According to Coker, with the figure, the state has the highest prevalence of the virus among South-West states. The commissioner, represented by the Permanent Secretary, Hospital Management Board, Dr Nafiu Aigoro, said the 20,827 patients have been placed on Antiretroviral Treatment to keep the HIV under control. She explained that Ogun State has a prevalence rate of 1.6 percent.   Nollywood actress Iheme Nancy said her dog is better than some of her beloved friends even though the dog doesn’t rest. According to her, her dog DRE is 100% better than some of her beloved friends which is quite alarming to have such friends. She said that the pet is 100% better than them.   Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. fought to a draw in one of the most impressive performances from the two during their exhibition clash which took place at the Staples Center on Saturday night, November 28.   Veteran musician, Charles Oputa, aka Charly Boy, has declared love for his gay daughter, Dewy.  The singer made the declaration after one of his followers Akhigbe Sunny criticised him for openly accepting his lesbian daughter.  "Charlyboy needs to be helped. His problems are bigger that than of the nation. Imagine one who accepts his daughter as a lesbian" the man wrote.  In response, Charly Boy told him to to go find a cure for his poverty first.  "I love my gay daughter" the singer added.     

  North Korean hackers are suspected to have carried out a cyberattack against British coronavirus vaccine developer AstraZeneca recently according to a new report by Reuters. According to Reuters, North Korean hackers posed as recruiters on social networking site LinkedIn and WhatsApp in order to approach AstraZeneca staff, including those working on coronavirus research. The suspected hackers then offered fake job offers to the company's staff then sent documents -- some using Russian email addresses -- purporting to be job descriptions that were in fact laced with malicious code designed to give the hackers access to the victim's computers, Reuters reported.     According to Reuters, the hackers were not successful.   Drugmaker, AstraZeneca has not reacted to the report But the University of Oxford, working in conjunction with the drugmaker to develop a covid-19 vaccine said the university is working closely with the UK National Cyber Security Cen...

Former Senegalese footballer, Pape Bouba Diop has passed away at the age of 42. According to reports, Bouba Diop had been suffering from a long-time illness before his death.  The midfielder became a national hero when he scored the goal which saw Senegal beat France 1-0 in their opening World Cup game in 2002. He first arrived in English football when he joined Fulham from Lens in 2004. He later joined Portsmouth in 2007 and after a stint with AEK Athens returned to the top flight by joining West Ham in 2011. After one season with the Hammers, he joined Birmingham City before being released in January 2013. Diop won 63 caps for Senegal, scoring 11 goals including his historic World Cup strike.
