  Singer, Peter Okoye has taken a public stand against domestic violence amidst the heartbreaking stories that have been emerging of women suffering abuse from their supposed loved ones.

  Friends and family members have been thrown into mourning following the death of Abuja-based woman, Suzzy Yakubu. Late Yakubu, a graduate of the Federal Polytechnic Nassarawa, got married to husband Ajayi Oluwatosin on March 25 and passed away on May 4, after a brief illness. She has been laid to rest.   Three gang members have been jailed for the murder of 25-year-old Nigerian man Tobi Animashaun in Charlton, south east London. Jeremiah Lloyd Johnson, 23, of Walnut Road, E10; Codie Goodensimms, 22, of Fairthorn Road, SE7, Antoin Gray, 22 of Troughton Road, Charlton, were convicted and sentenced to life in prison on Wednesday, 10 May after an eight-week trial at the Old Bailey.   

  The senate have passed the 2017 budget. The budget was passed during plenary which was chaired by Senate President BukolaSaraki. He thanked Nigerians for their patience and understanding during the budget deliberations. 

  Singer, Lynxx has responded to rumours that he is engaged to former beauty queen, Munachi Abii. He took to his twitter page to debunk the story. He wrote;

  Acting President,Yemi Osinbajo, says President Buhari sees him more as a son than the Vice President. Osinbajo said this when he spoke at the Emir of Katsina's palace today May 11th. Osinbajo is 60 years old and President Buhari is 74 years old. "President Buhari has taken me more like a brother, in fact sometimes more like a son than a VP" Osinbajo said

  Everyone hopes to be more beautiful than they are but there is one woman who doesn't feel that a beautiful face is a blessing. 26-year-old Cherelle Neille from Manchester is claiming that she is unable to find a boyfriend because of how beautiful she looks.
