UNILAG Lecturer Rapes 18-Year Old Girl   The Lagos state police command on Monday, August 3, arrested a part-time lecturer of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Afeez Baruwa, for allegedly raping an 18-year old girl in Yaba.     University of Lagos The Punch, it was reported that the victim identified as Caroline, who is seeking admission into UNILAG, was raped inside a study room within the premises of the institution. The lecturer, who was arrested by the Surulere police division, claimed that the sexual intercourse was by mutual consent, insisting that he did not rape the victim. It was reported that the victim’s father, who belonged to the same landlords’ association as the lecturer in Abesan, Ipaja area, had allowed his daughter to follow the lecturer to school on Thursday, July 23 for her admission process. On that same day, Baruwa allegedly took the girl inside one of the study halls, bolted the door and raped her.

How Father Married 5-Year Old Daughter   In Oregon, United States of America (USA), a father proposed and married his 5-year old daughter on Friday, July 31, because he realized she would not live long to fulfill that dream.       Father and Daughter Daughter, Lila May Schow was reported to have been battling stage 4 of “neuroblastma” cancer for three years. Neuroblastma cancer, described to be a form of childhood cancer that attacks the nervous system. According to Lila’s doctors, they disclosed that the family treatment is no longer an option because her body is too weak to receive such treatment.  Due to this development, her parents Heidi Hall and Ryan Schow decided to make her last birthday a special one. Busta Rhymes arrested and charged with assault      Rapper Busta Rhymes was arrested and charged with assault after he threw a protein drink at a worker at a Chelsea gym last night, cops said. The 43-year-old whose real name is Trevor Tahiem Smith Jr., threw the cardboard Lean Body protein drink container during a dispute with the employee at the Steel Gym around 8:30 p.m., police said. The bottle hit the worker in the back of the head but the employee was not seriously injured. Several witnesses said the 2 had been at odds in the past and questioned why Busta was arrested. The star was charged with assault in the second degree after his arrest and it is believed that he is still in jail. Busta Rhymes' lawyer says: 'This is another attempt to take advantage of Busta's celebrity status.
